Good advice & information

We had purchased furniture last year from FV and the customer service and expertise from Brian was we thought exceptional. Completely understood what we were looking for then and wasn’t just looking for a sale. Hence the reason we returned this year after visiting other companies we still thought for Goods on offer and customer service particularly from Brian it was a no brainer.

Made a few purchases and Jordan and Tom were excellent kind and friendly

What an experience visited shop in edinburgh staff were brillant, then came home and ordered evrrything, if you havent been, get going was in my element

The staff at the showroom were very knowledgeable and did not rush us into making a decision. They repeatedly offered us tea and coffee which was nice.

Harry at the straiton branch was amazing from the moment we entered. He wasn’t pushy in the slightest and had amazing customer service will definitely be back.

All recent visits and delivery service have been excellent. Most recently visited to purchase 2 extra cushions for our sofa. No problem with our request and great friendly service, this time from Robert, who coincidentally sold us a new car from his previous place of employment 10 years ago! Just goes to show doesn’t matter what you’re selling, good customer service is good customer service. 👏

Tom Lawson’s assistance was fabulous. Offered refreshments (the oatmeal cookies were delicious!)
Gave us time to consider what we wanted; annswered all of our questions; provided helpful opinions.
Helped us through the purchase process.

I have already had furniture from the Edinburgh store, so this was a return visit. Roger Singh was very helpful and friendly. Thank you Roger. My experience with Furniture Village has been nothing but positive, from the in store staff to the delivery drivers. Thank you 😀

The quality of the furniture is good - But that is the only positive about this company.
Their delivery /customer / complaint services are very poor. I've ordered a wardrobe on March 22nd with a commitment of 1-3 weeks delivery. Till now, it is not been delivered (a broken wardrobe was attempted to deliver few days back). I am still chasing on my own.

So if anyone looking for a fast delivery and proper customer handling - this is not a good place

UPDATE (9th May) : Please be aware that this company (Edinburgh stores) is very unprofessional and unethical in handling customers. For no fault on customer side, they behave with very poor ethics. very unpleasant experience.

We have bought several items of furniture from this store over the past few years since they opened up their new store in Edinburgh. What brings us back is the quality and style. Everything is so classy looking.
Staff are always helpful and spend plenty of time with you. We've had dealings with Jordan, Hailey and Keith as salespersons from this store.

Great experience with Tom today fixing our sofa. Super helpful and informative would highly recommend cheers Tom!!

Showroom was clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly. Tom Lawson was our advisor. He was polite, attentive and knowledgable. He gave us various options and didn’t pressure us. Once we had decided on the table and chairs he worked out a good deal for us. Delivery had been planned in. Would recommend.

We had fantastic advice from Jordan Woods and he showed us exactly what we were looking for. Now we have measured the space at home, given the information we needed, we will be happy to make an order next week.

Tom was excellent.

We were kept up to date with completion of the sofa plus the delivery date. Also kept up to date with the delivery by text up to timings. The delivery men Rab and John were very helpful and polite also answering any questions.
