We recently visited the Lincoln Store on Valentine Retail Park. The store was well laid out and had a great selection of quality furniture at a competitive price. The staff were friendly but not pushy. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Craig, the Sales Consultant gave us some very useful information and guidance, which helped us make a purchase. We're looking forward to our new recliner chairs and can't rate or recommend Craig and the Lincoln store highly enough.

Visited the Lincoln store over the Black Friday weekend, looking for a new dining table and chairs. Really impressed by the quality and presentation of the furniture and the store itself. We were assisted by Roger, who was fantastic. He was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, applying no pressure while we took time to deliberate our options. We decided on the Vida Table and 6 chairs, which have already been delivered and assembled - another great service! We’re delighted with the product, the quality and the service provided - 5 stars all round!

Purchased a sofa and coffee table recently. Oktawia was friendly and super helpful with the purchase. It was a pleasant experience all together!

After payment was taken by FV for the after care package for the three-seater recliner, we were let down by the fact there was an issue with the recliner. So we waited for FV to call back after the delivery team said there would be a 72 hour wait for a rep to call, visit and view the issue with the recliner.

The issue being the item is not fit for purpose.

Upon taking the call from ''whomever'' from FV we were asked to prove who we were. Since the call went no further beyond security as I had no means to prove to ourselves this was not someone else, FV were more than happy to leave it unresolved at that.

Dealt with many furniture companies better than this for customer service and since the item remains not fit for purpose, I'm obliged to now contact Trading standards.

We have been looking to purchase a new double mattress and visited a couple of other retailers in Lincoln before the Furniture Village store. Neither of the other stores showed any interest when we walked in and we were pretty much ignored. They also had a significantly lower portfolio of manufactures to choose from.
When we walked into Furniture Village we were approached by a gentleman called Craig. We explained what we were looking for in a mattress after a recently diagnosed arthritic condition. Craig pointed us in the direction of mattresses from Vispring, Hypnos and Harrison Spinks. He was not at all pushy and left us to try out the mattresses. We were impressed with all three, but erred towards the Vispring. We were pushed for time and agreed with Craig that we would return the following week as I wanted to do some more research on the internet. We called back on the 26th November and saw Craig again and after further discussion we chose the Vispring mattress and paid a deposit. We valued Craig's advice and nothing was too much trouble for him sorting out questions on the phone with Vispring and Hypnos for us. Also enjoyed the coffee hospitality! We highly recommend this retailer.

Lewis was a great help ,nothing was too much trouble .He went over and beyond to help us achieve our desired sofa .

Fantastic from start to finish

A no pressure sale, informative about the addons for cleaning, delivery ect.

Our corner unit was ordered on a Saturday at 9am . When we went home we remeasured and found the unit would stick out by 5 cms . We went straight back in to the Lincoln store on Sunday which opened at 10am . To be told that there would be a £400 admin charge . We were annoyed but had already paid in full the £3000 .we reordered I believe a three settee unit and a chair . We received no paperwork at that point and were told delivery would be 10 weeks at latest . The order was due to be delivered on 3 separate occasions and eventually turned up 1 week before Christmas . A total of 15 weeks . Imagine our surprise when the settee turned up and it was a 2 seater !!!! We have argued and gone back and forth and cannot get anywhere . The settee has been repaired twice and is still uncomfortable and not what was ordered . There is no customer service dept and no complaints dept . Look on Facebook at all of the disappointed customers that are in a similar situation .

This furniture is not checked.
It's dumped with the Customer damaged.
Furniture village then have a system which is all email, live chat and pictures
This takes weeks of chasing and then they just dump another damaged piece of furniture with you.
This is not cheap furniture but a very cheap service.

Nice showroom, excellant staff, quality goods and reasonable prices.

Help was there when we wanted it and we weren't pressured in any way.

Salesman Phil was very helpful not at all pushy. Demonstrated everything like the heated seat.
