Poor installation / quality - Dining Set

The installation team built the set wrong. The bolts in all the chairs are falling out and threads are all damaged so cant be reinstated. Chairs now all rocking instead of swiveling!!!

Customer care team are not responding to the emails chasing up a sensible resolution to this.

The sales consultant James Byrne was absolutely terrific - he found the right balance between offering genuine and honest advice, whilst allowing us the space and time to make a decision. He was friendly and engaging and a joy to deal with. Thanks James! Andrew & Lisa

The staff are FANTASTIC and we never feel harassed to buy something. Always someone close by if you need advice. I like to be left alone to browse first. But I'm hoping they get a wheelchair for customers to use.

James Byrne found the right suite for us and this has been delivered today. We'll worth the wait.

Really good experience buying dining table and chairs, matching sideboard and a sofa for our new home. Frances was very helpful in helping us find the furniture we had viewed online. Then let us freely look at sofas without being too pushy. I felt her approach was perfect in allowing us to look and she also knows the products very well.

We were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Could look around without being badgered. Coffee station was a great bonus. Derek introduced himself and left us to look around. When we decided what we wanted Derek was available to assist us in making our purchase. We left the store happy 👍

Bought a Sofa Raven 2 Seater x 2 I'm on my 3rd replacement which out the lot are the worse , they've offered me £300 refund , ehh " no deal mr Furniture Village " Ive sent all photographic proof along with the faults, you then proceeded to send out a so called funiture specialist in your favour may I Add , who I think was running on red bull and spent a whole 10 minutes if your lucky assessing the furniture , he left with a complimentary bounce on each sofa as you would a child playing his feet barley touching the ground , fast fowrd 4 weeks later with zero communication or word from either party , I decided to chat on the FV website got a hold of an advisor asking for an update he miraculously pulled out of cyberspace this report from Castelan Furniture Specialist in their favour at that point I was written off with the matter closed and directed to CAB , yet 4 weeks earlier they were offering £300 refund , this partnership find in favour of Furniture Village its plain to see , the report totally fabricated and I've seeming signed off on this its beggers belief that these guys Furniture Village have zero Quality Check on these imported sofas they also send unqualified couriers who unbox on the pavement outside only then you get to find out any issues with the sofa , once installed , then its upto the Customer Careless line to take on the responsibility of any issue's anything major then send in the Redbull Furnitre Specialist and produce a document in their favour with a less than 10 minute inspection , absolutely had no intrest in what you had to say or what your concerns were , THIS IS A WARNING TO OTHER DON'T BE CAUGHT OUT WITH THE NICETIES AND FREE COOKIES
Further to this review its came to out attention this morning 23/5/2026 that these guy's are from the company they use to sell the insurance policy we hold and were not aware of that at the time that we would be proceeding with an insurance
claim and that they would send someone out , Ive never encountered such diversion of responsibility towards a customer complaint.

Contacted Khadija who listened to my concerns and was very helpful. Arranged a call back in same day. This happened promptly within 10 minutes. Khadija was able to offer a resolution for two issues to my satisfaction. Khadija was extremely courteous and I could not have asked for a better service from this lady. Thank you kindly for this. Highly recommended service provider and organisation.
