Friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the products

Sian has been great, we are very happy that she has provided the best service that we could expect and look forward to receiving our new bed.

Dean was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products; not pushy but always available to answer our questions.

We wanted to have another look at a sofa we had really liked from a previous trip but worried about getting through our front door. Andrew was very helpful, not pushy at all and was able to assure us that the sofa came in pieces and could be assembled in our sitting room. The whole experience was friendly, helpful and not overpowering as some sales people can be. This is really important to us - we want to be able to ask questions but not to be pounced on as soon as we walk in the shop. We could not have been happier with the service we received and thank you Andrew for your help. We are now looking forward to receiving the sofa.

Very attentive sales person, friendly and informative

Staff in the store were very helpful but not pushy which was good. Telephone call to arrange delivery on date suitable to us. 3hr time given on day of delivery & text 15mins before they arrived, very cheerful & helpful delivery chaps left all furniture where we wanted it & all packaging taken away.

We needed a new king size bed and our choice was to return to Furniture Village as we purchased dining room furniture from them two years ago. On that occasion we were given a very professional and friendly experience. Nothing had changed we were very fortunate that the person who helped us last time was still working at the store, namely Matthew Seymour. We must have spent at least an hour with Matthew helping us choose taking in the fact that we are both OAPs and my wife has back issues. Without the help we were given we would most probably have gone elsewhere. Let’s hope he still working there in two years time when no doubt we will need something else for the home!!

I needed my recliners settee adjusted and fixed. It is under guarantee. Liam from Oak Furniture land answered my email request for my settee to be adjusted, by callingme and arranging to send someone out. He came back to me so quickly very grateful.

Went to the branch in Crawley which I would not do again on the basis we were buying expensive furniture. We spent some time looking around. This resulted in. I was getting a parking ticket. It’s so far taken two weeks to get that sorted and we’re still not there we did give the company our numberplate regrettably this was not taken down correctly. As a result when we asked them about talking to The car parking people the response we got was our hands are tied you’ll have to deal with it yourself. This is taken as a considerable amount of time and we’re still not there yet.
The table and chairs we ordered has arrived and the delivery driver has actually noticed something that they said they’ve never noticed a Mark like that on there before and of course when someone point something out like that in those words you instantly home in on it, they said they would contact customer service services and customer service services would contact us in 72 hours. We then got a call four hours after the delivery from the sales person saying is it the colour that you ordered which he was and she said it’s a natural product which it is because it’s marble and therefore there’s nothing we can do. My hands are tired. You’ll have to speak to customer services when I explain that the drivers with the people that picked it out and said that customer service would be contacting us she said okay wait for them to call back.
I appreciate she might not be able to do anything but it was the way this came across which was rather stressful.
This is a typical example of the salesperson or the sales people to be fair. I really nice to you right up until the point that you’ve paid and once you’ve paid, that’s it.
