I have two orders now that have taken nearly two weeks to arrive mostly due to it not being dispatched and them taking my money the day I ordered, plus one item was broken and the sales department hasn't answered the phone whenever I have rung

Ordered one of my items in April and another in May and they still have not arrived! Emailed them to ask what had happened and they told me it’s out of stock but are waiting on a delivery, this was in July. Absolutely atrocious delivery!

I regret preordering from this company. The product has now been available locally for a few weeks, yet still we wait. Payment taken on July 20th, product despatched (after I complained) August 20th.
If I cancel I must pay to return the product.
I have ended up paying more (p&p) to receive a product after it was readily available elsewhere.

Order my items a few month back (pre-ordered) meant to be released 15th of August and I emailed the company and asked what’s happened. They said they still haven’t received them yet and there let me know when it would be on the way...

A company should know a date in which they will get stock in and when it was released. If you can not be organised and not have a trusted supplier then you should not be selling that item until that item is in stock.

Very disappointed how forbidden planet has handled this situation. I will not be ordering from here again till I see improvements from other customers.

Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with online. Terrible ordering system, WAY overprice shipping costs (wanted 32 pounds, actually shipping was 16), and the comics I bought were TRASHED. TONS of spine ticks, bent corners and creases on the cover. One book was actually scarred with an engraving. They are trash. FP planet offered 20% back. I can't even sell these for 20% of what I paid.

THese guys are a joke. DO NOT buy from them, ever. They don't care about their customers, and anyone that would consider sending products out in such bad shape clearly doesn't care about the hobby.

Avoid at all costs. Completely unacceptable.

Wish I could share the pics. If you're a collector, they are a horror show....

Trust the reviews.
Read the reviews and purposely ordered things that were in stock just to test them out. After 5 days of waiting in which it still said my items were being processed, one got changed to 'expected date: Supplier dependant' so even though they don't have it in stock I have already been charged in full. Not good enough steer well clear of this site.

STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ITEM YET BEEN WAITING FOR EVER A MONTH WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Ordered an exclusive pop vinyl for my daughters birthday which is in a few days. It arrived today. The outer box was so badly damaged that I knew before opening it that the contents would be damaged too. Not just a tiny bit but extensively. I took pictures and got in touch about five minutes after the postman delivered it to ask if they could get a replacement sent out in time for her birthday and all I got was a generic message saying, and I quote "we will try to get back to you within 48 hours". NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This isn't the first time either so I'm now seriously considering spending my money elsewhere. For anyone thinking about ordering from them....I hope you have better luck than I have.

Tough. Almost a week and had 2 exact payments taken from my bank and asked Forbidden Planet to reverse the payment then it would drop into my bank but told they cant do this even though they initiated the payment.

Then got emailed this "We have recently had reports that customers have experienced a pending payment present that usually just disappears with only one amount having been actually charged" but I cannot access the money pending either so I just have to suck it up.

Do not use forbiddenplanet.co.uk as unhelpful with constant put off tactics for there own mistake. Imagine this money was all you had to live on what would you do?

Excellent service & team

I have ordered several times now from FPI and each experience has been excellent. Very easy to order from and deliveries have been quick and reliable. Orders have always come well packaged and undamaged.

My experience with their customer service to has also been excellent. When I have contacted for updates on shipped items or stock updates. Their replies have been quick and well informed.

Recently I contacted regarding a pre ordered item that had unfortunately been delayed. When asked they could not give me an exact date for when this would be in stock due to suppliers. The service team where great and offered me a refund if I wished due to the delay. I chose the refund as I could get the item elsewhere. They happily obliged and the refund was in my bank the next day.

Would highly reccomend to collectors.

I order a product on the 05/04 couple days ago i contact then to check where is my item
They told me to wait or check on my depot.
I didn't have any paper for royal mail about it.in the depot they didn't find it.
To day i received an email with parcial refund because my item was sent back to then.
So i didn't have the item and had to pay packaging and post
Rubbish costumer services

Made a pre-order of Ru Paul Pop figure and it was dispatched and sent to me really quickly. I know they aren't released in this country yet so it's amazing that we've managed to get one and I know the recipient will LOVE it. It's been sat on my desk at work before it's delivered tonight and I think half the office want one!!!

My first order got damaged in the post so I had to get the order replaced. Customer services were very helpful. Especially Sophie who personally ensured my replacement order was picked & packaged very well and upon receiving the damaged goods back, posted out the replacements very fast so they reached me in time for my signing. Very impressed. Thank you.

Ordered on a Monday & got the order the next day!!
The site is easy to use, excellent packing, items were packed really well & with a lot of care!
Would recommend these guys to anyone.

I contacted the company to check if the items were in stock which they were and I said that they were for a birthday present, so I ordered online .6 days later they still had not arrived and there website said that my order was still being processed. on contacting the company I was told that my order was sent to the warehouse the day before (5days to give the order to the warehouse) when asking to cancel my order I was told that I cant as it was with the warehouse. I will NEVER use them again. am am now going to have a very disappointed son on his birthday!

I ordered an item for someone's birthday however the website doesn't make it clear how long delivery will take so I contacted the company and asked how long it might take, and received a quick response advising it should be dispatched the next day.

When the item arrived (very quickly) there was a note on the packing slip requesting that the item be marked as urgent as it was a gift. I really appreciated this, as even though I hadn't asked for it to be marked as such, Wendy from Customer Services went the extra mile to make sure my order arrived in time. This showed a high level of customer care, initiative, and it felt like Wendy / Forbidden Planet cares about their customers.

I would definitely order from this website again!

I would like to thank you for sending out the first item. My son was over the moon when he got the chase version as he wasn't expecting it as this is the first time in the 2 years he's been collecting so far, an online store has sent a blind chase! He has very few chases in his collection as I can't afford those insane prices for them (being a single parent is hard work) and rarely see them at retail price. I would like you to know how much I appreciate it as it made his day!

Forbidden planet is like a collectors heaven ! There is seriously something for everyone whether it be a huge range of graphic novels /manga /pop vinyls /collectibles and many more stuff ! I definitely prefer shopping in store than online so I can get a hands on look at everything they have to offer as they have so much on 2 floors . But that’s not to say I don’t rate the online service because I have used that on many occasions to pre-order certain items for later release and I get an email letting me know when it’s been dispatched the postage is fast and a great deal of care is always taken in packaging
