Formula One Autocentres - West Quay Recensioni 

I was visiting Southampton when my tyre pressure dropped and warning lights came on, after putting air in them it did it again and I found Formula one autocentre who were closing soon, Dusty was amazing and quickly found the problem (a screw in the tyre!) and was able to repair my tyre and stayed past closing to make sure we could get home safely. I cannot thank him enough he is an absolute life saver as I was 40 miles from home!

Major service.

My car went in sounding fine, came out with a broken exhaust.

They told me my car needed:

front pads at 2mm (red) - they weren’t that bad

exhaust separated at back box to mid - they’d done this themselves according to another garage

section antifreeze at -7 (min-20) - Halfords have confirmed it’s perfect and doesn’t need replacing or topping up.

both front track rod end ball joints cracked - two garages have confirmed that they’re not cracked and they're fine.

They sent me a quote for nearly £500 to fix the exhaust. I got it welded for £84. This wasn’t even suggested.

It said through the MOT apart from a seat belt advisory.

I’ll be contacting trading standards. Avoid

I have complained to head office about this and they’ve inspected my car and claimed it wasn’t foul play etc etc but I’ve now had two independent garages say otherwise for some of the work and a third say another part of the work needing to be done is a lie.
I can’t see how three garages can say the car is fine yet formula one say otherwise.

Thoroughly recommended, I cannot thank Ryan, Amir and the other guys at F1 Autocentres West Quay enough, they have always been superb with looking after our cars as a family for the past couple of years, nothing is too much trouble for them. They’re always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I’ve had various work done here across the three cars we own as a family and couldn’t have wished for a better experience, thank you guys so much.

Been using the West Quay Southampton branch for almost 12 years and the service has consistently been great. Just popped in today to replace 2 tyres and Dusty even replace my DRL and did not charge me for the service. It is the going the extra mile that I really appreciate.

Always a friendly smile as you arrive. Excellent quality of service and great value for money. Would recommend them to anyone needing their car service or mot doing.

All I want to say is the guys at this branch are just AWESOME in my opinion
I have been using them for a few years now and they always look after my car well and being a female you can get sometimes get ripped off by some garages(not all may i add) but definitely not here and the staff are so helpful and friendly

Took car in for MOT. Everything ran to time and staff were very friendly. Car passed MOT with advisory for future tyres in need of replacing at later date. I was given very helpful advice and he took the time to explain to me on best recommendations for tyres. I will definitely be back and highly recommend for friendly and punctual service

Came here (Southampton branch) for an MOT on my 4 year old Golf. They failed it because I had an airbag warning light on (this was the result of a flat battery a few days before). All that was required to sort it was to plug in the diagnostics device to clear the fault - a 5min job at most. Not only did they refuse to sort it out there an then (most decent MOT stations would have done it before failing it for a nominal extra fee), they told me I would have to book it in for a retest costing £15 and they wanted to charge a further £45 for the 5min task of clearing the fault code. Fortunately, I found a friendly garage who cleared the code for £10, but sadly I still had to pay the re-test fee, which basically covered them to start the car and check for warning lights.

THIS GARAGE IS ONLY OUT TO CREATE EXTRA WORK FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS! I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS GARAGE AGAIN!

I turned up on time. They accepted me immediately. They did the work and reported the completion

Once again great service from Dustin and the team at West Quay, each time they have taken care to ensure every thing is checked and any references to have work done is carried out. Thank you to Douglas who talked me through the work they carried out for my service and mot. They keep my car safe and with that I can keep my family safe when out in the car.

Job well done as usual, and I was kept informed, and advised, throughout the day.

Overcharged for work that i did not agree to and then completely failed to deal with my complaint.

West Quay, Southampton Division have been superb. I first used them for my lads tyres a few months back. Have been back since to have my own tyres done and recently to have MOT’s on both of my other cars. They’ve been polite, friendly and professional on every occasion, Amir has been super helpful and I appreciate the service from each of the people I’ve dealt with there, thank you guys! Recommended.

Thank you for the team at Southampton - at a Master Service and a full air con service and recharge amongst other things. Smells like a new car now - thank you for getting it all done in one day... went down to the last minute as a bolt was jammed. So thanks again.

A very complicated issue with my mother in laws car which she foolishly bought off a very unscrupulous garage in London.
Incredible service from Dusty! Very polite, very patient with my mother in laws broken English and was very sympathetic as she was distraught and angry as her brakes had failed which could have ended so badly!!
Simply had to mention this as this guy is an absolute star!!!
