Formula One Autocentres - Brentwood Recensioni 

I bought my new tyres from ASDA, as the prices were very attractive. Now as for the Fitter Formula One (F1) Autocentres in Brentwood - this place is complete disaster and should be avoided at all times, with the Manager who is completely unprofessional and RUDE. Here is what has happened:
1) I booked 4x tyres fitting and wheel alignment for Friday 10:30am as it was available on ASDA tyres website. F1 called me same day to say they will not be able to do it on that time, so had to reschedule for next day.
2) Came on Saturday and fitting 4 tyres and alignment (2 front wheels) took hefty 1h 30min!
3) When all was finished the guy who drove back my car broke plastic cover from handbrake switch on my car.

I went quickly to the reception to inform about the damage and wow could not believed how this was taken and how I was treated. The guy went outside and said that this was imposible and he has not done it and he was the only one that drove my car, despite the broken plastic cover being outside on the driver seat. I wanted to raise a complain and speak to the Manager. The guy said quote: I am the Manager so you can complain to me. I wanted to know his name and he said quote: I am not giving you my name. I was absolutely shocked already at this point... I then asked, so how can I raise a complain as you have damaged plastic cover, he then said that I can go to Google and complain there. I asked for owner details and the Manager also refused to give this information, as he said quote: you will not try to grill me! I then asked for complaint book, so I can write my complain, again he said there is no such thing. He said that I have accused him for something that it was already broken and giving him quite bulls..t. The attitude, language and how I was treated by the Manager was absolutely unacceptable. I felt offended and disrespected! I left and informed the Manager that I will not let this go and will try to complain directly to the owner. He then said that if I will give him a quote for the plastic and if it is 10-15 pounds, then he will give me this money as a damage compensation, but if is more than that then no way he will pay for it. I left speachles...

4) When drove around 200m I activated tyre pressure sensors on my car computer to check PSIs on each tyres and oh my gosh... At front they should be 33 and at the back 30. They have pumped 35 at both front and 38 rear right and 35 rear left! I went back and and show that to the member of staff. He said that they don't have digital readers, so I went back home on petrol station and made it right as it should be done as a basic.

I literally am still shocked how I was treated and the service provided by this station. Not only I am now anxious and stressed, as simply don't trust the job has been done appropriately. But also, now have to find my way to reach to the owner to made official complaint and informed the owner what has happened to me and the car.

ASDA if you read this please help me to get owners details and make sure you will scrap this provider/partner from your list of places where tyres can be fit, as part of your purchase service offered!

I have been using Formula One, Brentwood services for many many years now.

I visited them for changing the brake lights today and the manager Ricky was very helpful in fixing it at no cost!

This is the 2nd time one of our cars stopped working in the middle of the school week. Where everyone else was too booked up to be able to help, Alex and the team at Brentwood fit us in.

They understood the pressure we were under without a functioning car and within 24 hours sorted out the problem both times.

Excellent customer service and standard of care. It makes sense that Formula one autocentres is a family run business because its clear that their teams understand families. Would highly recommend.

5* service!! The guys who work here are trustworthy, reliable and do an excellent job! I’ve been a few times but this week I popped in as my right brake light was flashing and I was panicking. Ricky sorted it out straight away for me, was professional and didn’t charge me a penny which I thought was so kind! Thank you so much to Ricky and to everyone who works at the Brentwood Formula One - you are all amazing!!

Visited this branch after purchasing 4 new tyres on their website, received absolutely appalling service despite being simple and straight forward to purchase online.

Got there 20 minutes before my appointment time of 12pm and was welcomed by a customer booked in at 10.30am complaining his car had still not been taken into the garage over an hour after his appointment.

I had to wait an hour and a half after my appointment time for my car to be taken into the garage to have the tyres changed. The tyre fitter appear unmotivated and dragged his feet taking an hour and a half to fit tyres.

He stated he bent his pry bar whilst attempting to take off my tyres which he and the manager claimed were run flats even though they were not. I pointed this out and stated the tyres going on were the same and were not run flats, they once again incorrectly stated they were also run flats.

Once my car was ready I noticed all my unmarked alloys were now all scratched and that 3 of the 4 valve caps were missing, these were fitted when I pointed this out.

The car was driven out of the garage and left waiting on a downwards hill resting dangerously on the automatic gearbox as opposed to the parking brake by the manager.

The final nail in the coffin after 3 hours at the branch was that my car lights were left on throughout the time the car was on the ramp, draining the battery.

UPDATE: After being asked to contact Formula One Autocentres as requested below by the business I was rudely dismissed by the regional manager who stated the damaged caused to all of my alloy wheels was as a result of kerbing prior to my visit.

The case is now with the Motor Ombudsman.... BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!

5 stars for Brentwood last Friday for not only full service, replacement of all 4 discs & pads but checking car thoroughly before my trip away, thank you guys

Booked full service online offering 20% discount and duly dropped car off today 21.04.22. Had a call from Alex later saying might be some unavoidable damage to oil filter cap which had previously been overtightened by someone else. These are plastic and liable to break if overtightened. Gave him the go ahead to try as needed to be done.
Within an hour Alex called me back to say service completed, no damage to oil filter cap.
Excellent service from the guys there and would highly recommend.
Just a note: Trustpilot still has location as Wates Way, Brentwood and they haven't been there for ages.Current address is Hubert Road, Brentwood CM14 4JE.
