Several unexpected issues were found with the vehicle during the appointment, and the techncicians worked together to sort them out on the same day. I cannot thank the team enough for this, and I especially appreciated the customer service contact throughout.

I would never use Evans Halshaw again…
I would never use Evans Halshaw again following my experience at the Chester branch. After being sold a defect new vehicle, the new car sales team lacked knowledge and urgency in resolving my concerns.
The customer relations department is yet to reply to my requests after 3 months at time of review. It is no surprise that the branch has such poor customer services.
After 8 weeks of chasing Evans Halshaw Chester, the vehicle manufacturer thankfully terminated my contract a provided a full refund, allowing me to find a dealership that valued their customers.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Bought a car in August 2024 and was sold a faulty car. Made to pay for a hire car?! £30 a day while they fixed it. Tried to contact head office multiple times with no success.

Good overall service but not up to date…
Good overall service but not up to date with offers. There was an offer of £500 more for a PX with no T&C’s, only when we questioned this did they say it only come with conditions which didn’t apply to my vehicle. Very disappointed !!

Very poor customer service would not…
Very poor customer service would not recommend. Phil in sales was initially great. On taking the car for a test drive tyre warning light came on dash. Reassured by Phil problem would be sorted. A week after having the car wing mirrors did not move inwards on central locking and tyre warning light reappeared. Have made contact with Chester who failed to return calls on several occasions and then advised as Wrexham was my closest branch they may be able to help. Car was taken to Wrexham, problems not resolved. Further calls made to Chester, Phil has now passed the problem to Ahmed the manager,after 3 months car was seen in Chester, wing mirrors partially fixed, advised by Cara in services the tyre was damaged and that was why warning light came on. 3 weeks later still waiting for authorisation from Ahmed for this problem to be resolved. In the meantime tyre loses pressure and needs air before every journey! Not a happy customer and will not be recommending them. Ahmed even had the cheek to blame my mum for phoning the garage and requesting that I take the car to Wrexham, when my mum is estranged and would not know that I have even changed my car! Very poor service and no sign of improving either. Would give 0 stars only that isn’t an option.

Rapid Brake Light Replacement
I took in my vehicle to Evans Halshaw, as the right rear brake light has failed. This was replaced within 20 minutes. I would like to thank Isobel Jones, Cara Maxwell, and the Team at Evans Halshaw Chester for such excellent service and a rapid response.
