We decided to sell our car to Evans Halshaw.. I can honestly say the whole experience from start to finish was effortless.. we made an appointment online with an indicative figure. We were met by James Carr.. such an honest and professional chap.. at no point did we feel pressured or being diddled.. we agreed a figure we were both pleased with. The process was easy.. we would recommend Evans Halshaw and indeed James Carr.

Hassle free dealing. No big sales pitch.

The sale was handled by Rachel from start to finish in a very professional manner. A few issues on my side with emails, but everything went through smoothly. Very polite and helpful, a real credit to the company.

Rachel was super in the way she looked after us. She sent us possible vehicles she could get in for us. Knowledgeable about the car we ended up buying. Helped as consider different specs without being pushy. Very efficient collection. Happy with our puma car choice so far

Amazing support and communication from the team at Evans Halshaw. My personal experience purchasing a new car last week was an experience that could be stressful but wasn’t and that’s thanks to the team, especially Nam. Nam is the salesperson who guided me and helped me throughout my experience. She was great and really helped me, she was extremely reassuring and a pleasure to be in her company.

Just had my fourth car from EH Chester and each time have use Phill Holding as my go to salesman. From start to finish his customer service skills are first class, he doesn’t push anything unnecessary onto you and acknowledges the customers needs and wants brilliantly and even responds to emails on his allotted days off( sorry Phill). He’s a credit to the business that others could learn from in dealing with the customer, first and foremost.

Absolutely amazing experience buying a car from Dan at Evans Halshaw. Every question answered and the patience of a saint. Quick turnaround and smooth transaction on a lovely car at a great price, good mileage and in lovely condition. I would highly recommend both Evans Halshaw and Dan.

Very friendly, great customer service even in the heatwave. I needed the car delivered and this was arranged faster than I expected. All communication was clear. This was the first time I had bought a car unseen - other than a video - and am very pleased. The car was spotless and just as described. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely appalling service, husband bought a very expensive car which was sold with a three year warranty, very quick to take his money....not as quick to deal with issues relating to the car, even during the three year warranty period. He has been without a car for nine months, yet still paying for it.
No response from any one with regards to rectifying this situation and managers seem to never be available, wonder if this is due to them being too busy dealing with other complaints.
Would suggest avoiding at all costs.

They are very helpful and accommodating to get their sale, then it goes downhill. I was sold a land rover for over £20,000, with a 3 year warranty. The car breaks down within the warranty period, I was assured the breakdown would be covered. 9 months later, I am still paying for the car, and the dealership/staff ignore official complaints, dont respond when pressed, won't fix the car because it's not 'cost effective' for them. I still have 2 years of finance to pay, and have to borrow family cars and use public transport to get to work. Still not resolved

Great location. Friendly staff especially Phill. He was patient and was not pressuring us at all. He made the process very easy and provided excellent service. I am very happy with my car.

So many things but they are all about people not doing the job they receive a salary for. Paperwork missing , no explanations of problems. Car is in the garage, people note problems but have to take car back in another time. Conversations had but not noted or passed on whether spoken face to face , phoned or messaged. Even when I explain to some staff they inform me my car should have this/that but it doesn't which baffles them. Others just don't care . Worst experience of a car purchase I have ever had . Maybe my expectations were too high . A main dealer I thought would of exceeded them possibly. Sadly nowhere near.

I dealt with Phil from Evans Halshaw Chester. Phil was very friendly and approachable, full of knowledge regarding the car I was looking at. I provided Phil with what I was looking for with the car and my budget, within minutes I was given multiple options at a very reasonable price, within budget. Phil made completion of the purchase/finance stress free and guided me through the whole process.
