Customer service is superb, kept up to date at all times, even sent me a video of my health check, had a full service and MOT everything was done very professionally I would not use anybody else, brilliant 👏

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the ongoing paintwork issue on my new Ford Mach-E, which was identified on the date of purchase and has now remained unresolved for nearly 12 months.

In January 2025, I received an email from Ford stating that my car was due for a service on February 28th and asking me to schedule an appointment. During this exchange, I also highlighted the ongoing paintwork issue. I subsequently booked the car for a service on February 24th, with the understanding that the paintwork would be rectified by "Spraycraft" on the same date.

As agreed, I dropped my car off at Ford Chester at 8:30 AM on February 24th. However, upon arrival, I was informed by a team member that my car was not actually due for a service and that the notification I had received in January was due to a system error. I find it concerning that I was not informed of this error prior to my scheduled appointment, which would have prevented unnecessary inconvenience.

Despite my prior arrangement for the paintwork to be repaired, I was later notified on the same day that my car was ready for collection, but that the paintwork had not been addressed due to a lack of availability at "Spraycraft." Given that this had already been prearranged, I was both perplexed and disappointed that the issue remained unresolved.

To add further frustration, I was asked to pay £20 for a courtesy car, which I had already refueled, under the assumption that I would have it for the week. This unexpected charge, along with the lack of communication and follow-through on the paintwork repair, has made my overall experience with Ford highly unsatisfactory.

I originally chose Ford with the expectation of a seamless and high-quality customer experience, but the past 12 months have been anything but. The service I have received has been frustrating, disorganized, and unacceptable. I would appreciate a resolution to this matter as soon as possible and would like clarification on how Ford intends to rectify this ongoing issue.

Spent £48,000 on a van,On collection there was only 6 miles of fuel in it, Just enough to get tp nearest fuel station,250 Miles when collected, At just over 500 miles injector went faulty, Got back 200 miles later on motorway turbo pipe came off, 1297 miles 2nd injector now gone faulty & in limp mode again, Shocking from start to finish

Picked up our new (to us!) used Mazda today from Evans Halshaw in Chester. Full credit to Phill Holding an experienced sales exec at this branch who guided us all the way from viewing cars to completion. I was not looking forward to the onerous chore of buying a car but I need no not have worried. 😧 top marks!!
