Great service and instant results
After struggling with condensation problems in our house for some time I contacted Envirovent who were great from start to finish. They come out and assess your property free of charge and provide a report. We elected to install a PIV unit based on their recommendations, the install was clean and done to a great standard and in less than 24 hours we’ve already seen amazing results and woke up to a dry house for the first time in ages. There are cheaper ways to install a PIV unit but it’s worth the extra money to have it done to a high standard with proper consideration for your needs, in line with regulations and with proper warrantys, all of which Envirovent provide.

If condensation is the problem, a positive ventilation unit may well be the answer…
We had a positive ventilation unit installed on Dec 16th and it's been amazing. It did take 2 weeks for the humidity levels to fall in the flat. We were getting readings of over 80% before it was fitted. But today Jan 5th they are 41%. We are so delighted. Everything feels, looks and smells a lot better!
We also had a powerful extractor fan fitted in the bathroom at the same time. We were told we needed both and I can see that. It's a fabulous extractor fan and makes a huge difference in the bathroom.
The PIV unit is discreet and quiet - almost silent - no problem to live with.
The Envirovent team were incredibly helpful throughout. From the initial enquiry and survey, through the planning application that we needed (being in a flat) and then regarding the fitting, which was all done in one day.
If you have a condensation problem in your property, I wouldn't hesitate to get Envirovent to investigate it for you. If a PIV unit is thought to be the answer, go for it. It's fantastic.

Bathroom extract fan
Humidity sensing fan developed a fault after only 2 years, however it was repaired within a week or so at no cost under the terms of the guarantee.

Dishonest during the sales process, promised stuff they had no intention to deliver.
First of all, I would state that the installation was good, and the units themselves seem to be doing an adequate job at this early stage.
However, during the on-site sales process, I agreed with Envirovent that they would remove the old extractor fan and cover the hole left, as I didn't want detritus from the roof space falling into the bathroom and the new fan was going to be installed on the wall.
When the installation team arrived, they made it clear they had no intention of removing the old unit (only removing the wiring to use with the new fan) so I was left with an old fan unit in my ceiling that I now have to pay extra to have removed and the hole covered.
So, BE CAREFUL of what they promise they will do as part of the work undertaken, and get it very clearly agreed in writing, or they'll use weasel words to suggest "misunderstanding" to get out of having to do work agreed...
