Was a bit concerned because of the bad reviews but got the shades in 4 working days. The price was cheaper 25% compared to other shops a nice bargain.

Poor service
I ordered two pairs of sunglasses in June 2023 and, as of December 2023, they have still not delivered them. The estimated delivery was around 2 weeks. Each time I have contacted them they have replied with the same vague explanation as to ongoing supply issues outside of their control. In spite of this, I have just ordered exactly the same sunglasses from a different online store based in the north of England and they were delivered to me within one week. No such supply issues for them. So having kept me waiting for 6 months, I have now cancelled the order with edel-optics and asked for a refund. I will not be wasting anymore time dealing with this company and I certainly do not recommend them. I just hope they don't thank me again for my patience and understanding, both of which have steadily evaporated over a 6-month long wait.

I've ordered multiple times before over…
I've ordered multiple times before over the last 3 years and was happy but it seems the service got worse. They use now speculative sale so if there is no 'in stock' sign but a 1-2weeks guidance, don't even bother. Over 2 months of wait and nobody was able to tell me if they can even deliver and when. I don't blame the CS people, they can only tell the status but whoever is responsible for stock planninfg should be removed as you just damaged the brand I trusted. Ordered at other online shop - it could have been you...

The glasses you ordered are not in stock and have therefore been ordered by us at our manufacturer.
A repeat order is normally sent to us within 2 weeks. Unfortunately, there has been a delay at this time, we have recently heard that there are currently some production issues at the manufacturer.
Because we are dependent on the production process and the shipping, we unfortunately can't speed the process.

As happy as Larry with my prescription sunglasses
I recently ordered prescription sunglasses from Edeloptics and I am very satisfied my purchase.
I have been searching for a pair of stylish (but unpretentious!) sunglasses for a while, so decided to give a go to the Polaroid PLD 2086/S 086 UC 47 model. They did a great job getting hold of the model I wanted (which was out of stock in first instance) and in getting my glasses delivered to my doorstep, just on time for the Cambridge Folk Festival.
This was my first-time ordering prescription glasses online, so I was hesitant of not using the services of my usual opticians. Thankfully, the experience turned to be genuinely smooth. It was very easy to choose my preferred lenses and provide my eyesight prescription details. I have now received my sunglasses and I am pleased to say that my vision is as clear as expected.
I was somehow sceptical about the value for money that is offered by this company, but the sunglasses look great on me and the quality of the prescription lenses is on par to that of my daily glasses. I am as happy as Larry.

Professionalism, quality products and excellent delivery
I've been a customer for at least 10 years and never had any problem with my orders including delivery, only aspect that they should improve is their website which needs a major update in my opinion.

Awful order management and customer service
Awful! I ordered a pair of glasses and was advised on the website it would take a month. A couple of weeks later the order hadn’t progressed so I emailed and asked if there was a problem and if I needed to change my order - I was told there wasn’t a problem and changing my order wouldn’t be any quicker. Just followed up again as still no progress on the order, to be told they can’t get the frame as it’s been discontinued. After a month! Awful. Demanded a refund.
Edit: Just downgraded to 1 star as they couldn’t even apologise!
