I moved to Rotterdam three weeks ago with the lovely help of Marit. I was unable to get accepted into an apartment due to my pets. After a long search on my own I decided to look for professional help. I got in touch with Dutchify through Google and they managed to help me find a lovely place within 3 weeks. I was aware of the added difficulty of having 2 cats and a dog but they dealt with that in a professional way and managed to find something for me.

If you're in a rush, don't use Dutchify. It took them around 6-7 weeks to find an apartment...

So, from 22nd August until 1st October is more than 10 working days, if you work 5 days/week. :)
And regarding the budget, sorry for having a limited budget. If you work only with people with unlimited budget, you should state that on the contract. And btw, I offered to pay 3-4 months in advance for the rent. I would've pay for more, but yeah, my budget was limited.

Anyhow, thanks for the help and good luck. I was lucky that Andy was a great guy and he was the reason I kept hoping until the end :)

We called Dutchify on July. We were in a urgent situation. They found an house of 22 mq after two weeks, we were three people living in it. At the time when we signed a contract agreement, we had to pay an amount out of the contract to an agent, who said that this was a registration fee. Althought we asked for a long time the receipt of those 400 euro, Dutchify never called the agent to give as a proof, and we eventually discovered that the registration fee was illegal. Plus we didn't receive our deposit back for the previous rental agreement, the new owner of the flat have never received any deposit money from the agent. I don't recommend at all Dutchify. We've paid 900 euro for a protection package (too expensive) and in exchange the agent where not able to assist us, they replied many times late to our e-mails and they weren't helpful not even for a formal information, instead other common people provided useful information. One of the service of this package was even a legal assistance upon the contract but they actually settle us to an horrible flat with an agent who stole our money, a total of 2900. They even promised to us that they were going to find a new flat for free, and then they came back to propose a new package that wasn't helpful at all, as we needed to solve the situation of the previous rental agreement. You don't need this agency to settle in the Netherlands. I eventually succeed by myself to find a job and to find another us without paying any money more.

Other than a few hickups when we started regarding meeting scheduling, Dutchify did a good job at finding dog friendly accommodation in Rotterdam and handling the paperwork.

Ik heb een prettige samenwerking gehad met Nick en Marit die mij geholpen hebben om een huisje te vinden in Amersfoort. Ondanks de moeilijke opdracht is het hen gelukt om iets voor mij te vinden.
Een verbeterpunt van mijn kant:
- Betere communicatie tot het eerste lijst van opties komt. Dit duurt best lang en radiostilte tijdens deze periode maakt het voor de klant stressvol.

I would personally rate Dutchify 5-stars and would recommend it to anyone, as the process is very simple and cost efficient in terms of service and after-care.

First they will ask what do you need and figure out your budget and based on that information (plus whatever special needs on locations, furnishments you might have) they will begin the search for your housing. Below I will describe my experience with Dutchify.

When I first landed to Netherlands in 14.8.2017, it took around two weeks to do most of paperwork, viewings and other processes with Dutchify. They made it easy as basically I needed just to fill in the papers and bank statements of my own to the future landlord of mine. The place I landed in was everything I wanted it to be, short term (6-month), furnished apartment. It was perfect until I ran into the problems at the check-out.

Basically deposit that I had there was around 1000e worth and they did not pay it back to me despite of me having flawless check-out form (They even conveniently forgot about it at first). I contacted Dutchify again and got all the legal and necessary help to resolve the deposit issue with the landlord, after short talks with Dutchify the scammed deposit was paid back to me in its full amount. In summary I was helped to check-in and to check-out. When I had any problems they got solved extremely professionally and in timed manner. I never had to wait too long for an response from Dutchify. In Netherlands they provide honest, fast and reliable service. It is much needed in this country as expats, foreigners and students are scammed very often in the local housing market as landowners are not really honest here. So this will save you stress, money and legal worries.
