An order for 20 shirts was directly assigned by Mr. Furqan with an agreed production timeline. During production, delivery was delayed by one day due to an electricity shutdown, a factor beyond operational control and a known reality of manufacturing in Pakistan.

We communicated this delay transparently and in advance, informing that delivery would move from Friday to Monday. Instead of professional coordination or flexibility, the order was abruptly cancelled, with communication that suggested suppliers should feel privileged rather than respected as business partners.

This resulted in wasted production effort and a dead-end investment, despite the supplier being a Gold Verified supplier who pays platform fees upfront.

Following this incident, a separate RFQ for gloves was posted on the website, but by then the professional relationship had already been negatively impacted.

This reflects how Lalaji treats its Gold Verified suppliers who pay upfront—with little tolerance for ground realities and limited respect for honest communication.

Strong sourcing platforms are built on mutual respect, transparency, and fair dealing. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated the opposite.
