Everyman Racing/Drivers Dream Days…
Everyman Racing/Drivers Dream Days rescued me from a situation which I’ll be eternally grateful for. I’d booked a voucher on Wowcher for another driving experience (for my partners 40th) however they didn’t have the 4th March 2024 available- I waited just over a day for a credit/refund from Wowcher and decided to call the booking number on their website to double check if I was to book a voucher with them would they be able to book me on a driving experience as I didn’t want to risk buying again with them only to not have the date available. Everyman Racing/Drivers Dream Days customer service agent Samuel Baar was so happy and helpful I explained my situation and he said we have Three Sisters Circuit Wigan available and to let him know once I’d got the credit/refund he’d book me on it - he took my email address and sent me an email. The following day I’d got a refund from Wowcher and rang Everyman Racing I spoke with Jinal Sodnal (I mentioned that Samuel has helped me locate a track the previous day - I didn’t email Samuel as I just needed to book over the phone asap as I wanted it booking) again another helpful happy man he swiftly took my booking and I asked to upgrade to a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 this was an extra £10 and I paid a £40 waiver fee which is to insure my partner when driving the car (optional) all in all I used Wowcher for an £89 3 lap 3 car deal £89 plus £50 so for £139 it’s blooming good value and for me with only a few days to book a life saver of a company like literally they both provided excellent customer service. Three Sisters Race track was great I was able to view my partner travel around the track and took my own pictures/videos he loved it! One thing I wished I’d done though was take my bigger coat as it was cold luckily I had my scarf lol 😂
NO dietary alternatives
Don’t offer any alternatives for dietary requirements such a vegan or lactose and tolerant. Was told to wait by a flag and it was 3 degrees only to have been waiting in the wrong place for 30 minutes
TONS OF HIDDEN COSTS…
Clearly there is an issue with this company, I called in today to query moving my date to another date due to hospital letters and they said I have to pay £30 to reschedule, ontop of the £30 I paid for the actual booking, plus £20 for collision fees and £20 for pictures after the 3 laps….. LOADS of hidden costs and poor policies in place, absolute scam of a company, plus ontop of that, no refunds. People, if you see this review just forget this company in total, waste of time. Rubbish. This was supposed to be for my birthday and I get treated like trash for being a customer.
Poor experience both with Everyman…
Poor experience both with Everyman booking and with the tack. Booked a Junior driving. Everyman staff information on which tracks we could choose was incorrect. I had to say to their staff that tracks were not available. It meant we were miles away. AVOID. Leicester Loughborough- the track has so many of these experiences you are battling with adults and off road clients. So badly managed our son was missed and we had to wait another 30 mins. In total it was over an hours drive, 1 and half hours wait for the driving experience. Staff are working out of their cars and don’t seem to have a clue who is next!!
Poor experience, poor service would not use either again
Oulton Park Super Car Blast
I visited Oulton park on 29th Nov 2023 to drive a I8, GTR and a DB9
Generally, the whole day ran very well, the check-in process was easy enough, and the queue was not too long. The check-in process was organised.
The only issue was at one point when it seemed I was the first in the queue for my 2 PM time slot, but then when they started calling the people forward, I was 5th, and it wasn't made clear why.
The two ladies looking after the fast laps were really friendly, and the majority of staff were too, but there was only a lady who seemed a bit rude, but I guess it's hard to be happy all day.
The instructors were very good, I got instruction where needed, and was left to my own devices to enjoy the experience. 2 laps of Oulton aren't really enough to settle into the experience, but that's not the experience's fault.
The Aston Martin looked in poor repair and had obviously had a hard life, thought I appreciate its being used as a track car, it was a shame to see it in such a poor state. But again not the company's fault the cars don't stand up to the punishment.
The fast lap in the BMW 135i was very entertaining, experiencing a road car's capabilities on track at high speed was eye-opening, and showed the clear divide between a good driver, and a professional one.
There was an issue with the video footage from the experience, and the issue was quickly resolved with the offer of some more prints, or a fast lap in the Ariel Atom, which I jumped at.
Now, if you get the opportunity, I would wholeheartedly recommend giving it a go, as a fast lap in a passenger car is one thing, but an open chassis 2 seater track car is something else.
The whole experience was well worth it, the only downside is there is a lot of waiting about disproportionate to the actual time you have in the car on track, but if you have never driven a Super car its a very good way to experience it, in a safe, control way, with the added benefit of great driving tuition.
Appalling, customer service & experience
Appalling, customer service terrible, my son went to 3 sisters 29th October, I was unable to attend looking after a sick relative, he didn’t receive any of the expensive extras I had paid for, extra laps, speed passenger ride and was never given a sd card with the photos and footage on, I’ve emailed and chased these morons for a month to just get the footage, finally a response today saying my son had signed for the sd card however there is no evidence to suggest this, of course I’m making up the fact I haven’t got it, how ridiculous, avoid at all costs, he’s young he was 19 at the time and he said he felt like he wasn’t treated like the others, wasn’t given any info, was just ushered away at the end and treated as a inconvenience!
this was a Xmas present … so I was absolutely gutted it wasn’t the experience I had hoped and that I will never see footage of him doing it!
Terrible experience
I have had a terrible experience with this company and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are loads of hidden extra costs after you pay, the cars are old and there are multiple people on the track at one time so you can't actually drive the vehicles fast and experience any speed faster than 40mph. The staff at the venue were also incredibly rude which set the tone for the whole day. I complained about multiple issues from my experience and had to constantly chase for a response. Every response I did get was very generic and ended with 'we will pass this onto the management to improve future events' which didn't solve my personal experience and issues! Don't waste your time and money on this company.
VERY DISAPPOINTING
I bought this as a gift for my son and future son in law as a bonding day out.
Aldershot track was extremely disappointing as it was very narrow. You could not go fast as there were too many cars on the track with few overtaking points
The cars were not as advertised. The ferrari 458 was the best car but we were told to go slow to avoid hitting the spoiler on the track
The lamborghini advertised was not at the track and we were given a much older car in poor condition.
The Porsche was the worst. It was a 997 generation 1, over 16 years old with 115,000 miles on the clock and had no power even with the foot flat to the floor.
This car didn't even have paddles. There were buttons on the steering wheel to change gears.
We paid for a fast lap with a professional driver. The car couldn't go fast and a complete waste of money.
We were also offered and paid at the beginning for a course familiarisation for £20 each. They put all three of us in a car for around 5 minutes with two sitting in the back and unable to see the track
Absolute waste of money and the cars were not as advertised.
They asked for feedback the following day and we have not had any response. Complete disinterest.
Dave Moore - legend
Dave Moore, at North Weal location, was excellent. My wife was very apprehensive. He was lovely, put her at ease and came out for a chat afterwards. Lovely guy.
It must be said, cars are old!
Staff friendly but not the most efficient process.
We had our allotted times but, we got done well ahead of time.
Enjoyed it but, you really only get a couple of minutes in each car, 3 very small laps. But, it’s an experience.
Best day out!!!
Dreadful experience, awful company, do not go near
I bought this as a gift for my Dad's Birthday. On arrival at the tracks he was told his voucher was not valid and was charged a further £125 by Ben (£35 of this was the insurance waiver). The experience is NOT as described. It is an experience of a luxury car, not a fast car - it was explained to my Dad during his demonstration laps. The tracks were completely disorganised, and dangerous, with buses shuttling people back and forth between the 'racing' cars. The final insult was when my Dad went to drive the car, they only had an automatic - which he is unable to drive. Since then, Everyman Racing have refused to give a refund, been slow to respond and generally extremely unhelpful. Reading the other reviews too, it is clear there is a pattern emerging here. Extremely sad that they are allowed to operate like this.
Generally not the most positive…
Generally not the most positive experience, high levels of disorganisation and inefficiency.
However, the biggest issue was poor visibility of the corners on the track, the c.10cm cones and lack of instruction mean it took a number of laps to actually understand the track layout. This could so easily be improved with a combination of better instruction and large track layout diagrams at each of the waiting zones as there is plenty of time spent waiting around.
Also, a number of cars are fairly bruised and battered and look nothing like what is featured on the website.
Overall not terrible value for money but don’t set your expectations too high.
Disappointing
Disappointing.
My 8 year old son was really looking forward to his 2 hot laps @ Bicester heritage site. 1 lap in a mclaren and 1 in a Lamborghini.
The cars were so old and battered and weren’t even clean. Dents, bits missing out the alloys, a Ferrari was leaking oil, a Lamborghini had its engine being worked on.
My son said ‘they didn’t even go fast mum’ when he got out the car
We were left waiting for ages between the first lap and the second lap without being given an indication of how long we would be waiting.
If you book, expect dated, damaged dirty cars, long waits and lots of ques.
Oh and do not bother with the photos packages - load of rubbish!
The absolute worst money grabbing…
The absolute worst money grabbing company i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their one single goal and policy regarding refunds or cancellations regardless of the situation is to avoid providing a refund under any circumstances.
We booked an experience day a good few months in advance. Due to some very upsetting and unforseen circumstances we had to cancel. It was approx £300 from Virgin. You redeem the voucher with Everymanracing and have to spend another £50 on insurance. Then they try and sell you additional things. Virgin were happy to refund the voucher on the condition that Everymanracing cooperated with a refund on their side.
I apologised sincerely for the booking and requesting a cancellation but due to some very upsetting and personal circumstances I would no longer be able to participate in a driving experience.
The company first advised they wouldn't give a refund. They advised they COULD give a refund but they were choosing not too at this time. I pleaded with the company as it was a considerable sum of money and explained the personal situation and we had booked with a lot of time in advance. They then advised they would send the request for the refund to their management to let them decide. I didn't hear anything back for a while or from chasing the matter.
When i finally got through to them again they tried to cross examine me because I didn't explain my situation the exact same way I explained it the first time i called. They didn't want to give me a refund because they had listened to the call recording from when i first tried to cancel and the words I was using now didn't match the exact things i said the first time. What the actual f***. This the primary reason I think they are horrible. They could easily provide a refund but they are choosing not to and on the most ridiculous grounds.
After arguing and apologising for not giving the exact same sworn statement on multiple occasions they then decided they couldn't give a refund because I hadn't purchased cancellation insurance. Another add on to pay. Not that that guarantees you a refund because they don't do refunds.
Was told no to a refund because they didn't want to give me a refund.
Was told management could give a refund but didn't want to.
Was told I couldn't get a refund due to my "story not adding up."
Was told i couldn't get a refund because i didn't buy refund insurance.
Pretty sure at this point it is any excuse.
GTR with Kev
Went around the track driving the GTR with Kev Wright, absolutely amazing experience, really well instructed by Kev, clear and concise instructions helped make this experience as smooth as butter would recommend to anyone.
Do not
Do not. I repeat do not take a rally experience with this company. It’s not a rally experience. It’s just a slow ride around a small dirt track pitted with pot holes at 30 miles an hour in third gear, in a clapped out car, with the person sat at the side of you constantly telling you to brake.
I would give a 0 if it allowed me
I would give a 0 if it allowed me. My son was meant to do the Lamborghini driving experience, day come and head to toe in chicken pox. No changes allowed so I will lose the booking. Not fair at all. Bad customer services. still waiting or a call back from a manager
Greedy company... too many bookings
Son booked in for 3 cars and a fast lap at Prestwold. Not enough staff, tired cars (don't bother with the added insurance) and run down place - though at least there was catering on site. Instructors were nice as were the staff in general, BUT... there was no urgency to anyone, they had to cancel everyone driving past 4pm due to overrunning so much, signage and info about what to do/what was going on was non existent, not enough seating means we stood for hours and because they had overbooked (and KEPT booking people despite knowing they were short staffed) started nearly 3 hours late and waited so long between drives. A ruined experience and they simply couldn't care less. They have your money, so tough luck. Bought voucher through Buy a Gift... utter joke.
If you book with them do it in summer for the chance of decent weather, take a picnic/a book and brace for the long haul...
Don’t waste your money or your time
Don’t waste your money or your time. Horrific organisation, huge delays despite arriving in plenty of time, no seating (having stood for so many hours because of their delays you’d think they’d bring refreshments and offer somewhere to sit). Hundreds of people getting angrier and angrier, dozens turned away, told to rebook, or refunded. We had no choice as was a gift experience, having paid for the upgrades, abysmal photo package (did better with my mobile) and insurance. Do not book your experience at Prestwold. I expect this comment will be deleted. Shameful, embarrassing, avoidable and utterly, utterly disappointing. My son spent 10 months looking forward to today. Gutted for him. Edit: A quick google has also demonstrated they knew in advance they would be short staffed and tried to recruit randoms with no vetting or requirements other than a driving licence. I am shocked and angry.
HORRIBLE
We arrives at the place booked in did all of that and 30 minutes before we got to drive we were told it was cancelled because they had to little instructors because one of them crashed and 3 if them were sick AND THEY KNEW THEY COULDNT DO THE EXPERIENCE THAT DAY THEY CHOSE TO NOT TELL ANYONE WE TOLD THE CHECKING IN STAFF IT CANCELLED AND THEY KEPT CHECKING PEOPLE IN AND ALSO HOW DOES A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR CRASH THERE CAR WHEN THEY ARE DRIVING SUPERCARS WITH CHILDREN INSIDE
