Excellent service! Although we did not manage to rent the car, Taj our server was incredible calm patient and helpful. He gave great advice, everything he offered made sense and he genuinely tried to help us get the best possible deal and scenario. He spent a long time trying to figure things out and is even helping with the process with the broker. 5 stars!

Big thieves and scammers., Qasim the manager is the ring leader , his own staff say he robs people.
Makes new rules up when u go to pick up car and then asks for more money,he used foul language and when challenged called the police .police were nice u like this arrogant person

I've been using Drivalia for a number of weeks now while the works vehicle as been in the prosse of repair and can honestly say the professional service offered by the Birmingham staff as been exceptional expecially by Felicity Millard. Also a big thank you to all the back office team that whish and maintain the vehicle's

I would leave a minus it's not here .charged me for a cracked windscreen. The disclaimer you sign is on a tablet which is totally unreadable they explain nothing. Just say sign here sign again.than charge you a ridiculous amount for a windscreen over 1k,stay clear of this company especially the one by Birmingham Airport, I should of asked to see what I'm signing. They tell you nothing than give you a car with service lights on which they wasn't bothered about.there just here to rip people off.

I’m very surprised to read so many positive reviews of this company. Their modus operandi is to screw people on the insurance. I had exactly the same experience as other users where I booked through a third party and paid for insurance coverage only to be forced to either pay a lot of money extra for more insurance coverage or pay a ridiculous deposit by credit card (don’t know any other rental company that does this). The staff at the office were extremely unhelpful and actually seemed to enjoy annoying the customer. Had to also pay extra for a car seat even though I’d also already paid for this, and they gave me a really crappy car seat that was broken. Paying to make a problem go away I can live with, but endangering the safety of my child is just shocking. I dropped the car off at a different location and witnessed the same aggressive upselling of insurance in such a way that it was ‘mandatory’ when clearly it is not. I made a formal complaint which as you can imagine was just brushed off, and had the same problem I’ve seen with other reviews where Drivalia and the third party both blame each other. I’ve used other rental companies through third parties and DID NOT have these problems so it comes back to Drivalia and their shoddy business practices. I cannot say more strongly - DO NOT USE this company. It may appear to be cheaper than others but then you get screwed by all the hidden costs. Terrible.

Great service on picking up the car by Qasim at the BHX branch.

Company had incorrectly on the system double charged us and increased the price of the rental as I was 24. Qasim (BHX) managed to sort it eventually and ensured the actuate price. System needs updated- otherwise positively handled.

Qasim answered our queries and gave up appropriate information on excess cover.

5 stars to Qasim for dealing with us straight away when we arrived at the office. Very polite and professional.

Unfortunately we waited about an hour for the pickup from the airport, as there was only Qasim in the office, as he was dealing with another customer at the time.

Unfriendly staff, service almost non-existent, and a scam with the rate including the deposit… Here is the summary of my experience with Drivalia at Birmingham airport.

1. The shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport barely spoke or looked at us, and stayed warm behind the wheel, while my wife and I had to load our luggage into the trunk ourselves, under our 2-year-old daughter’s gaze.
2. We had opted for a baby seat (which doubled the rental price), and it was so kindly placed at the other end of the parking lot, waiting for us to come and retrieve it… From afar, it looked sad, alone, lost.
3. I could have overlooked all this if the rate agreed upon in advance had been respected… except that we were forced to pay €250 instead of the planned €100. I’m used to renting cars during my frequent trips in France and abroad (including England): same Visa Premier card, always with a deposit. Except that this time, they were unable to take the deposit on this card due to the notion of a “debit” card instead of a “credit” card, a concept that does not apply to France (among others)… But no problem, they had a solution: A no-deposit package, 2.5 times more expensive! What a commercial coincidence :)

I had gone through DiscoverCars.com to rent this vehicle, and they did not want to know. Publicly, in response to my review on Trustpilot, they offered a full refund, but in reality, privately, they imposed €30 in vouchers on me… A slight difference between the image they want to project publicly and the reality. At best, they are victims like me, at worst they are complicit (more likely).

Of course, I contacted Drivalia before leaving this review, but I received no response from them after more than two weeks, knowing that they received the message.

Conclusion: first and last time with Discover Cars and Drivalia.

Advice: Stay away!

Qasim was extremely helpful and understood our needs. He went extra mile to help us and advising for the best option. Pleasure doing business with his team!

Worst rental car company I have ever dealt with. Still have to refund me £3,000 despite confirming all was okay with the rental and there would have been no charges.
I witnessed more than 3 clients experiencing very serious issues with this company - one was given a broken car (a car part literally fell off while he was driving), other 2 clients had heated conversations with company as they were trying to take their deposits despite confirming everything was fine, etc.

Would strongly recommend to avoid Drivalia.

Qasim was very nice and helpful at all times. If need to rent a car again I will definitely repeat and recommend.

Easy booking process, helpful staff - especially Felicity.
Was there at a busy time so would have been helpful if another member of staff could have processed the rentals.
