Went in on Wednesday was served by a lad in Birmingham branch under the name qasim thank you so much for your help..

This has been my second time hiring with Drivalia at Birmingham branch and I was fortunate that Qasim was available to deal with my query. He was wonderful and welcoming and very approachable. I would always recommend his customer service to others.

I hired a car from Drivalia BHX branch. I found Qasim very professional in his approach and made the hire process so simple and easy. His positive attitude was commendable. I would loved to be served by Qasim again.

Excellent customer service from Qasim in Birmingham airport branch on collection and drop off. Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the staff member who checked car on drop off and transported me to the airport who should also get a great review. I will definitely be back.

Total rip off merchants. Refused to use my debit card for preauthorisation of £1500 and forced me to pay £50 per day insurance. They did the exact same thing to the customer in front of me, he lost £200 and it cost me £150. Then my brother in law was next and they tried to charge almost double for his child seat even though it was in black and white in an email of what he had to pay. You think you are getting a cheap car rental but they are out to rip you off. I will stick with the big name rental companies from now on!!!

Drivalia just leave generic response to complaints to go on their portal but as I booked through a broker this is not an option!

Reply- The fact that you won’t place a hold on a debit card (like hotels for example) is a sneaky way of catching people out to take your excess wavier. As I said you did the same to the person in front of me is this is obviously a very lucrative way of making money at your customers expense! I have used other car rental companies and never had any issues with using a debit card, I had the money in my account and was happy for a hold to be placed on it.

We use Drivalia everytime we visit the UK. The staff are always polite and helpful. Felicity was very good when I delivered the car back.
The prices are very good too in comparison to other companies.

Shambolic customer service!! I was handed keys despite no instruction (I’ve never driven a BMW before) when I returned keys Zee at counter was rude and said we are not driving instructors embarrassed me in front of another customer!! Zee was too busy bragging about his Dubai trips with no attention to customer service, when I asked about leaving 3/4 fuel his attitude was abrupt ( I accept that it’s at drivers discretion leaving more fuel in vehicle than that at pickup) again it was his lack of helpfulness which raised concern. On arrival to return vehicle I passed my paperwork at counter and he refused to take it and told me to wait, after 5 minutes he then asked for the paperwork!! Very disappointing, unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills!!

We have rented a car from birmingham airport for one week and paid full amount in advance. When arriving in birmingham, our flight was late, plus it was dark and the picking point where tu wait for someone to pick you from the airport was not clear at all, in the end somebody came to pick us up finally. When arrived in the office, our car was no longer available, even if fully paid already. We said that in the reservation, the flight number was requested, so they could see that our flight was late. In the end we were offered a car at almost double amount of what already paid because faulty of being late to pick-up our already paid car. We're not happy at all about the service, I would have accepted any other similar car or small difference in the price I wouldn't mind, but I don't appreciate at all the way you have screwed customers. You may have gain few extra pounds this time, but you lost our trust as customers

I’ve used Drivalia quite a few times now, and I always prefer them to other rental car companies. Qasim at the Birmingham Airport branch is particularly helpful and always in a great mood! They’re super generous with their deals and have a great selection of cars, all in top condition. The shuttle from the airport is very convenient and they come and pick you up promptly, from literally outside the airport doors. They’re also always available to call in branch if you need to amend/extend your booking — there’s never a wait to get through to them, unlike some of the bigger companies. All in all — a great car rental experience. This is my 4th time renting with them and it won’t be my last. Thanks!

Picking up a car at Birmingham Airport, I knew I had to get shuttle bus to Drivalia but after asking three bus drivers got a taxi at their suggestion to the offsite office. Cost £10, but I was in a rush and couldn’t get through on the Drivalia customer service desk. Not the greatest start, however I now see that there is a direct telephone number to call the Birmingham office to be picked up, so I take responsibility for that.

The man who served me was extremely patient, he was very flustered when I arrived. Zen calmed me down, offered me a bottle of water and helped me enormously. It wasn’t long before I was on my way.

Zen has excellent customer service skills, the kindness he showed me means a lot.

Zee made check in and getting the car very easy and quick. Very much appreciated!
