Great service in Huddersfield Leeds rd branch from a lovely lady but we found the same divan base online cheaper so decided to purchase it that way although the lady in store did advice me which one to get and very kindly printed out the dimensions so I could measure up at home to make sure it fitted in the space I have in my son's room.
Delivery was on time and the gentlemen who delivered were kind and efficient, no complaints at all.

I purchased a Dreams mattress back in January after utilising their sleep machine and then also receiving superb customer service from a young lady in the Huddersfield store.

Delivery was arranged for Tuesday 18th of February and as promised, I received an update the day before confirming that delivery would be taking place on that day ..... drum roll .... at 7:15 am in the morning!!!! The time couldn't be changed and so I had to get up at 6:30am to get my old mattress ready for being taken away. So much for Dreams claim that they 'take sleep seriously around here' surely some joke!

The mattress was delivered by two excellent delivery men and the old one successfully taken away. Happy days so far!

I slept on the mattress that first night and awoke in the morning in total agony and could barely move. All I could think is that it takes time for your body to get used to your new mattress and so it went on for a few weeks of suffering Back and Hip aches as well as Neck and Shoulder pain. Then Dreams got in touch with me to ask me to review how things were going and so I did calling their mattress a Nightmare! They then arranged to send out an independent assessor to inspect the mattress. They duly did and informed me that the mattress was actually faulty and was already dipping more than Tempur would accept after a TEN year period for one of their mattresses! I was then supposed to get a copy of the assessors report and get contact back from Dreams within 48 hours, neither of which materialised. So, a week later I had to chase them up accordingly.

They eventually got back to me and apologised for the delay and arranged for the mattress to be picked up the following Thursday. They told me I could have a replacement mattress up to the value of £1k and a refund of 20% of the original purchase price as well. I declined because I no longer had any faith in Dreams particularly if anything was to go wrong again. Wise Owl!

They duly came on the day as advised to retrieve the mattress and the delivery men could immediately see the numerous dips in it (which hadn't been slept on ever since I was told it was faulty). They suggested that it might have been bent when it was brought up the stairs even though they're very wide.

I was told that I would receive a refund from Dreams within three to ten working days of them getting their mattress back. I'm sure you can guess what's coming, yep no refund was forthcoming just as I expected would be the case. So on Saturday, I put in a dispute claim via my Credit Card company and finally got my money back (albeit on a temporary basis and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Dreams had the audacity to challenge it).

In summary, abysmal own brand products, appalling/non existent levels of customer service should anything go wrong and finally thank God I had the good sense not to take Dreams up on their offer. My advice is to avoid this Cowboy company like the plague and go instead to your local independent specialist bed retailer like I have since done. I received simply superb old fashioned customer service from them and as well as ordering a new mattress I ended up buying another bed from them for my spare bedroom too. You have been advised/warned!

Wednesday 30th of April. So a full week on from Dreams replying to my review and informing me that they are 'looking into this and will be in touch shortly' unsurprisingly and for the third time I've heard nothing back from them and so the tumbleweed continues from this totally couldn't care less retailer!

We bought our bed base from the Huddersfield branch - we were served by Harris who was very knowledgeable and helpful.
