A welcoming place to have a coffee and cake.

Lovely staff, delicious food

We only popped in for some training lobelia, but stopped to look at the new layout, very nicely set out ( couldn't resist a few things). Unfortunately no lobelia but lots of lovely beding. Had a very nice cup of tea before we left.

As ever Dobbies staff are very helpful and the horticultural team are very knowledgeable and take the time to talk about plants and soil conditions etc. The Cafe team are also very friendly and it is a good place for a coffee or meal. Many thanks to the Dobbie Team

Everything we wanted available at reasonable prices.

My hot chocolate was cold, however is was replaced very willingly.
The "manager" Steve, or I assume he was, needed to leave his staff alone to deal with things. His interference and general chat to everyone was annoying to say the least. I noticed this last time we came and it has not improved.

Great quality plants. Service at the tills is painfully slow. There's always a queue, the cashier is slow and help arrives much later than it ought to take. This is doubly frustrating when there seem to be plenty of workers around doing display changes.

I gave 4 as food was hot and plenty although salad could have been fresher ,the girl that served us was quick and efficient and seemed to be doing most of the work .Other staff were not very organised and kept people waiting quite a while as they all seemed to be serving one table so need some direction in dealing with customers.Everything else was fine on visiting the garden and purchasing plants

Always very busy in this little coffe shop

A lovely birthday present from Dobbies allowed me and a friend to have coffee and cake! Thankyou….
We then wandered through the shop and we both bought bedding plants; my friend also joined the club, so a very enjoyable visit.

We enjoyed our shopping experience, found what we needed easily with good service.
We then decided to eat in the restaurant. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, once we were at our table, we waied for nearly half an hour without anyone talking our order or even coming to our table to explain what was happening, so we decided to eat elsewhere and left. Other customers, including a family with young children, also left.
We were very disappointed as the food we saw being served looked excellent. We understand that the restaurant may have been short staffed but to leave people waiting without an explanation or apology is inexcusable.

The purchase was fantastic, the young lad gave us fantastic help.
