Took my granddaughter to see Santa with the elves yesterday
What a fantastic experience, the elves were lovely and Santa was so friendly , they chatted and laughed , nothing was rushed
We took a few lovely photos
They made the whole experience amazing, well done the team at Dobbies , Swindon

My friend and I go to Dobbies in Swindon, and the food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Manuel is like his 'namesake'—eccentric in the nicest possible way. The restaurant could really do with some updating, and the toilets are really not good, which is why I gave it a 4* and not 5*. So, if you want a good Brunch, Lunch, or Afternoon Tea, you can't go wrong.

Stood waiting to be seated for 10 minutes many tables available. Staff looking and did not approach me as a customer. Very disappointed . So walked out

Great service from Cheryl and Steve in the cafe today... Confidently knew which food contained gluten and were very efficient and happy. Thanks guys :)

I went early so it was quiet and no queues for the tills. Good supply of reduced plants

I attended the cafe and the waitress attended to take my order. As I fancied a toasted sandwich I saw they did cheese and tomatoe so I asked if I could swap the tomatoe for onion. I was told no due to allergy issues. I informed her I am not allergic to onions but she flatly refused my request. So I settled for a cheese and pickle sandwich. When my order arrived it had a side salad smothered in onions.

I appreciate it was busy but disgusting service at the Dobbies at Stratton Swindon.
We were left 15 minutes waiting to be served people who came in after me got served before we did a female employee walked past us on a number of occasion and said someone would be with us soon.
They continued to serve other people.
I gave up in the end and walked out.
If it is that busy perhaps they need to employ more staff.

Free coffee treat, always a nice latte.

Food was delicious and staff were helpful.

Staff working under difficult conditions, ie not enough of them, and providing excellent customer care. When will this change?

My daughter and I spent £300 between us with 30% off on Black Friday on all Christmas, a very good deal. In getting home I realised I’d been over charged on the Christmas gift boxes as no discount given. After phoning the store they agreed to refund the discount I should have had.
Very satisfied with service.

Service pretty slow, cannot understand why dogs are allowed in the restaurant. On Saturday a dog did a large poo right in the middle of the Swindon branch cafe. Disgusting for people eating and drinking nearby.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. There's a good choice of products.

Today my friend was treating me to lunch at Dobbies restaurant Stratton .
I have been to quite a few different Dobbies cafes , and this is the first time I have been so appalled by the method of ordering and incompetence of the staff in dealing with members of public . After waiting a significantly long time to be sat at a table , we then waited a further 20 mins for our order to be taken . When it was , we were ignored and people seated long after after us attended to first .
After said food arrived , eaten , asked again to sit down to wait and pay bill .
This system does not work unless enough members of the staff are fully competent and trained in how to use systems. Very disgruntled and would not be looking to return .
