I Love going to Dobbies.
Its one of the best Garden centres, it is very well stocked with fresh well looked after plants, shrubs & trees. Garden furniture, kitchenware, restaurant but unfortunately the last few times i have been, there havent been any meals. Sainsburys is also instore. Plenty of space to move around, also parking spaces.
Wish there was one nearer to where i live.

The company knows what gardeners need and want. Staff are always helpful too

There are often problems in the cafe of no hot food as no chef available. Yesterday dish washer broken so no food again and coffee and cake served in paper cups and plates although afternoon tea customers had proper cups.

We had coffee and scones which was very nice , brought seed potatoes.

When we could find a member of staff they were very helpful and helped us find what we wanted.

Parking was good. Service il garden centre excellent.

I came in to shop for some pretty Christmas decorations or Christmas candles as idea for a secret Santa gift. The shop looked beautifully Christmassy and the displays had lots of choices and various pricing for the decorations, There were much less choices for candles and these were more than my budget of £10.

Very good service even when the shop was very busy. The staff were friendly, cheery, helpful and genuine. We were buying a Christmas tree and have touched a whole forest of them, but they did not mind and continued to provide a great service to a very undecided customer. We also signed up for the 'club' and benefited from a discount - which was great. The restaurant food was very good and good value for money too. We will continue to go back.

Just a few lines to say how amazing the staff,elves were at the Santa's grotto this year, took my 6 months old grandson to see Santa, the elves absolutely made it a memorable experience and Santa's was great with the little guy. Well done everyone

The restaurant staff especially Suzanne were super helpful with a last minute booking for afternoon tea, after our original venue was cancelled. They made our party of elderly residents and staff so welcome, they reserved a table that had suitable access and decorated it beautifully for Christmas, we even had crackers! They really saved the day and I am so grateful as our residents had a wonderful time. We will most diffinately book again. The food was superb and the service was brilliant. Thankyou guys.

Nice atmosphere to shop. Happy and pleasant staff willing to help you find things. Very clean and tidy.

Evening in this store it's brilliant. Product good quality, not expensive, a lot of choices.
I Recommended for everybody.

Useless restaurant,have complained direct but no reply at all,waited 40minuets plus for two coffees and cake using all our lunchtime.
Attitude if staff is not appropriate with lots of head shaking,had definitely declined in service need a shake up of staff and stop the table service does not work

Absolutely hopeless, waited over half an hour for three coffee's and two fruit scones.

Told we were next after a 15 minute wait, not true, had to wait a further 15 minutes.
Order had been deleted from the electronic screen!

Very, very understaffed.........

Would definitely not recommend.

Visited Dobbies for the first time for an afternoon coffee with my wife and mother.
Long queue as restaurant was extremely busy.
Queued for around 20 minutes and whilst waiting saw an advert for two cream scones for the price of one.
Placed the order and after around 10 minutes our hot drinks arrived but no scones.
Queried this with our waitress who said that there was a problem with the cream !! but she said that they would arrive soon.
Waited another twenty minutes by which time I observed several customers on tables nearby getting frustrated at the delay in their orders being served.
After another ten minutes I decided enough was enough and asked for my money back.
The lady on the till seemed surprised when I told her about my missing scones and the delay apologising for the poor service.
Interestingly another customer appeared beside me with the very same complaint asking for a full refund.
Sadly will not be going back.

I experienced very courteous assistance from the lady cashier. Being in the upper end of the 80s with an overflowing trolly her willing help was really appreciated.3

Lovely clean and airy shop, brilliant car park. I felt relaxed while browsing, no pressure to buy. Some excellent bargains to be found too!
