A relaxed and friendly environment with very helpful staff there when you need them. They were attentive but not at all pushy sales people. Our whole browsing through to buying experience was ten out of ten and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Swindon DFS.

Our family went into Dfs at Swindon today. We were welcomed by the staff cordially. We went around the shop on both floors in our own time. After choosing the sofa we liked we received a full explanation of offers, discounts with other furniture, care info for the sofa itself, finance, waranty and delivery information in great detail by Pina, who was very professional. We are happy with our purchase and look forward for delivery and installation.

Jason was very personable and helpful having acknowledged us on arrival. Despite a group wide IT failure he presented the product on a big screen which was very helpful and we completed a manual order which was later updated to a digital one.

Very friendly and approachable staff. We didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable at any point. Would definitely recommend!!

Shaun was very helpful in guiding me through all the details of my purchases. He made everything about my order easy to understand what each item would cost after reductions and possible delivery timing also.

Just placed an order at DFS Swindon and wanted to share how great the sales experience was. The sales advisor was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, informative, and gave me tailored advice without making me feel pressured. Everything regarding pricing and timelines was laid out transparently. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The first time I visited the store at Swindon, Pina greeted me and asked me if I had visited before and if I needed any help which I didn't at that point. She was never pushy as some can be at other shops but provided some friendly advice and made herself available when I needed. Very professional and friendly, making me feel happy to return later which I did.
I then saw Jamie as Pina was off and he was just as professional, informative and helpful. He took time to talk about things that were happening with me around my house and I felt relaxed and never under pressure. He provided the same information as Pina in some areas I needed further clarification which were consistent with what she had advised that further showed that I could trust this company policy and services available.
I got a great deal as well on my chosen suite and tables and was extremely satisfied with both the products and service recieved

Jason was very helpful and informative. We we’re undecided on which sofa out of 2 to go for and he went through thoroughly the two different styles and features of each to help us make the best choice to suit our room and family needs. Quick friendly service and we’ve come away ordering our perfect new sofa.

Visited DFS Swindon twice to buy a Sofa and was ignored on both occasions, so I purchased the Sofa online 😀

The assistance that we spoke to was soo helpful. He wasn’t overbearing waited until we made a decision and didn’t badger us at all which was perfect.

Adam was an absolute true professional, very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and we certainly did not feel pressured into anything. Overall great experience.

Pina, at the Swindon store, was friendly, helpful and informative. She gave us advice tailored to our requirements , not just ' the usual ' and this made our decision and purchase stress free.

I have given DFS 3 out of 5 stars because, although I found a sofa I really liked and was able to order it how I wanted, the overall customer service was disappointing.

From the moment I walked into the store, I felt ignored. No one approached me to ask if I needed any help or offer any advice. Once I’d decided on the sofa, I had to go and find a member of staff myself, and they didn’t seem particularly interested in helping.

I also felt like my choices were being questioned, especially when deciding between foam and fibre cushions. I was repeatedly asked if I was sure I wanted fibre because “it’s a lot of work” and that foam would be better. I had already made my decision and felt like I had to keep justifying it, rather than being supported in the choice I wanted.

In the end, we ordered the sofa exactly as we wanted it, which is why I’m not giving a lower rating. However, the whole experience felt like the staff couldn’t really be bothered, and it wasn’t the level of customer service I was expecting.
