I wanted to share the exceptional experience my partner, my dad, and I had at your store over the weekend of 6th–7th June.
We visited on Saturday to test a shortlisted sofa, and Billy greeted us with fantastic assistance, clearly explaining the features without any pressure. We returned on Sunday to purchase, and even though Billy was busy with another customer, he politely acknowledged us without interrupting his service. Shortly after, the store manager proactively approached us to let us know Billy would be right with us.
This "customer-first" approach is incredibly rare these days. Retail staff can often be pushy or intrusive, but the team here got the balance perfectly right. When Billy joined us, he guided us through the entire buying process step-by-step with immense patience, professionalism, and a calm, respectful manner.
Thank you to Billy and the management team for making this such a pleasant, stress-free buying experience. They are a credit to DFS!

Billy was incredibly helpful and despite me changing my mind constantly, never lost patience with me. The process of ordering was quick and easy.

As a follow on to this, unfortunately head office have been less than helpful. It seems they are in direct competition with the stores and are only willing to give good customer service if you order directly through them.

We have been in a few times to DFS mainly for other people but this time was for us and the staff were really helpful, respectful and not pushy. We were able to look around the store at our own pace and didn’t feel like we was being watched or followed.

Sonia was professional, calm, and approachable throughout the entire process. She explained every aspect of the sofa, the purchasing process, and especially the delivery arrangements clearly and thoroughly, giving us complete confidence in our decision.

Its verry nice

Great choice of furniture, fabrics and styles. Super helpful staff - we spoke to Sylvia who was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to decide on which colour fabric. Would recommend this shop for anyone looking for a stylish sofa!

Very helpful assistant John in the Farnborough store. Spent lots of time with us… not at all hurried.
