It was simple and straight forward
It was simple and straight forward. The voucher came through quickly. I could use the voucher at a bike shop I trust and regularly use. My only criticism is that the cycle to work scheme did not let the bike shop know that the voucher had been approved. I assumed that they would.

We are pleased to hear that your experience using Cyclescheme was easy, smooth and quick to arrive.
We do not specifically tell retailers that certificates have been approved, however they do have access to systems that allows them to see what status a certificate has got to. As we only give out the necessary codes to the user, the retailer wouldn't be able to move forward until they (the user) popped into the shop (or called) the retailer directly.

Happy cyclist
The whole process was quite straight forward, and fairly quick. There was a small issue filling in the on-line form to receive the e-certificate. I rang the help line. It was answered without delay, and within 5-mins the problem was rectified (cache history needed deleting). Good service. I now have the bike, have ridden it, and am a happy cyclist.

Easy to apply and use, did take over a month to finalise but not sure who’s side that was. But would recommend for anybody wanting to use the cycle scheme for work.

Can only use voucher on one retailer...
It was a right faff to get my Cyclescheme voucher. I would have liked to have a voucher worth £900, but because Cyclescheme limit you to only one retailer per voucher, I could only get £450 worth.

Due to how our certificates get used, you can only use one retailer as the whole certificate gets used in one go. You can of course buy all your equipment from one store, however we do appreciate it can be frustrating if you want items from different stores.

Very Easy to use and navigate
Using the Cyclescheme system was very easy to do. The one area which proved difficult was selecting the retailer. I had to type 'essex' to see the list of retailers. Typing 'Les's Cycles' resulted in nothing available.
