We have just moved in to our new Cussins home and the process has been very smooth, largely down to the great customer service provided by Wendy. From our first viewing many months ago Wendy has always been helpful and responsive to our many questions. Taking great care to ensure we had enough time to make our upgrade selections and opportunities to walk the plot before signing on the dotted line. As we lived over eight hours away, Wendy has also been keeping us up-to-date via photos and messages, she is a great asset to Cussins.

We have had a great experience with Cussins so far, and a huge part of that is thanks to Lauren.

From the very beginning, Lauren has guided us through every stage of the process with professionalism, honesty, and genuine care. She has always kept us up to date, communicated clearly, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening at each step.

What has really stood out is how approachable and supportive Lauren has been. No question is ever too much trouble, and she is always available to help whenever we needed advice or reassurance. Building a great relationship with her has made the whole experience so far enjoyable and as stress free as possible when buying a house!

Lauren, based at the Eccleston Park development has been absolutely brilliant throughout our purchase. She’s kept us consistently updated, made the exchange process smooth and stress-free, and has been both supportive and genuinely great to deal with.

The house is due to be completed in October, and so far Lauren has set a very high standard. Hopefully the rest of the Cussins team continue in the same way and there isn’t any more delays 🤞

It is well known that Cussins build good houses but what has made our experience special was Lauren. She is so warm and welcoming and goes above and beyond what is expected. I have seen a few Show Homes in my time but I have never met anyone like Lauren. She is amazing and a real asset to Cussins. Lauren talked us through the drawings for the house and was very good at explaining all the different ones.

I recently visited the Cussins development at Eccleston Park in Backworth and instantly fell in love with The Rosemary. The property has a beautiful, timeless style that really stood out to me and felt like somewhere I could truly call home.
A huge part of my positive experience was thanks to Lauren. She is an exceptional salesperson and an absolute credit to Cussins. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. Lauren has a warm, approachable manner and took the time to understand what I was looking for without ever being pushy or applying any pressure.
Her knowledge of the development and the properties was outstanding. She answered every question confidently and thoroughly, providing helpful information while allowing me the space to make my own decisions. Lauren struck the perfect balance between being attentive and respectful, which made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Fast forward a few weeks and I’ve reserved my new home with my house under offer!

From day one, the Cussins experience has stood out. The homes speak for themselves, but the people behind them make the journey even better. Lauren has been a brilliant representative of the company: knowledgeable, patient, well‑organised and genuinely enthusiastic. She’s made the whole process feel smooth, clear and enjoyable.

Before choosing Cussins, we’d visited a few other new‑build developers, and the sales approach elsewhere honestly put us off buying altogether. The contrast with Cussins has been night and day — professional, welcoming, and refreshingly honest.

Our choices appointment was long with a lot of decisions to make, but nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained clearly, guidance was offered without any pressure, and we always felt fully informed. Communication has been spot‑on, and we’ve been kept updated at every stage so far.

Buying a new build can feel overwhelming, but Cussins — and Lauren in particular — have made it genuinely enjoyable. It’s left us feeling confident, reassured and excited about the home we’re creating.

We recently purchased a Cussins home at Summerson Place. Carol and Caroline in the sales office were friendly and transparent throughout, and supportive regarding the sale of our previous home.

Our home demonstration the week before we moved was a positive experience, as we were able to see the house inside for the first time, and the site managers Keith and Alan were both helpful in explaining the finer details of our new home.

Our move day was a special and memorable day thanks to the Summerson Place team. The overall build quality and finish of the property is excellent, and both Keith and Alan have been helpful in identifying and rectifying the few snags we have experienced.

This was our first purchase of a new build home, and everyone involved at Cussins has made this a positive experience and ensured we are settling in well.

Moving into our new home has been such a special experience for our family. My mum bought the house, and now me and my brother live here, and we truly couldn’t have done it without Carol. She made the entire journey feel not only smooth, but genuinely delightful and memorable.

Carol goes above and beyond in every possible way. She thinks about every detail, no matter how small, and you can really see how passionate she is about what she does. That level of care and dedication made a huge difference to us, and it turned what could have been a stressful process into something really exciting and enjoyable.

We also want to mention Alan, who has been incredibly helpful throughout, always ready to assist and make things easier, nothing is too much trouble. They both make an incredible team and you can see why people speak so highly about them.

Carol truly made this experience for me and my family. Her support, attention, and warmth are something we’ll always appreciate. We’re so grateful for everything she’s done for us.

From stepping into the sales office to been handed the keys to my property at Summerson place I could not fault the whole procedure from meeting carol in the sales office to having any slight issues resolved it was a breeze, the site manager resolved the few very minor issues we had with impeccable promptness and efficiency honestly couldn't fault the Cussins team, well done guys all round, it's so nice to find a team that are actually interested in making you happy with a purchase, I would definitely recommend them.

Caroline at Summerson Place has made our experience effortless, and has answered all of our questions and queries throughout the process. We are interested in reserving one of the lovely homes Cussins have to offer and Caroline has taken the time to explain all the details and we can’t wait to continue this process with Caroline’s support. As first time buyers it can be a daunting process but Caroline has made the process extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend purchasing a Cussins home!

My partner and I have recently reserved a home at Eccleston Park and I wanted to share my experience so far. From the outset, the process has been smooth, well-organised, and reassuring.

Previously buying a Persimmon home, the experience we’ve had so far with Cussins has been far superior!

We have recently bought a house at Summerson Place in Darlington and we couldn’t be happier! From the first meeting with Carol to the handover with Caroline and the aftercare from Keith & Alan we have absolutely no complaints. The house is lovely and all minor snags have pretty much been sorted immediately and the quality of the build is second to none! Would highly recommend a look at the show homes if you are thinking about moving to a new build!
