The absolute worst customer service I have ever had to deal with! I have been trying to get a refund for a Frigidaire deep freezer that NEVER worked! I purchased from Walmart online and I had no idea they have a 2 day return only policy! Then I start to work with Curtis Intl to get a replacement or refund. That was in Sept this is Nov and still keep asking me to do more with every email! I scratched off the serial number, cut the cord took pictures of everything now they’re saying I need to add the case number on the deep freezer and take a picture of that! What is wrong with these people the minute I said it didn’t work. A replacement should’ve been sent and a pick up arranged. PERIOD avoid any product made by this company just in case it doesn’t work.

I have been fighting with this Company for months on my Frigidaire Gallery nugget ice maker. Customer Service is horrible and pretty much non existent. They keep saying I will have Resolution by the end of the day... that day still hasn't come. They tell me to take it to Walmart, then Walmart says its a warranty issue. I had this thing less than 2 months and it makes a loud screeching noise and stopped working. This is our second unit!!! These things are garbage.

Lousy company
One of the worse customers service experience I have ever experienced, I don’t even believe they’re a legit company. You get same automated response regardless of the receipt you send them. The live person on the phone keeps asking the same questions over and over. Still haven’t got a refund, replacement or repair.

Wow! After reading all the reviews, they could all have been written by me. I think they try to make you angry so they can hang up on you. They also tried the ol"I'm gonna put you on hold for a minute" then they keep you on hold for a long time hoping you will hang up. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Our 5 month old refrigerator died
Our 5 month old refrigerator died 5 months after purchase on July 2 2025. I speak to them at least once a week they gave me lots and lots of things to do I think I've sent them a total of $32 photos they wanted side views every angle I had to write inside the refrigerator cut the cord up at the top of the refrigerator every single day I get the same lady and she tells me the same thing every day it's going through processing however last month they said it's covered under warranty in 7 to 14 days you will receive an email with a tracking number for the check that never happened so I call the lady says you will receive an email within one to three business days. Three days later I called back I get the same thing this has been going on for months. Anything I ever buy from now on I am going to check to make sure Curtis International is not involved in any way whatsoever because this has been hell I have gone all summer with a family of five with a mini fridge because I can't afford to go out and spend another $1,000 on another refrigerator. You can't even get upset you can't explain to them you can't actually get into a conversation because before they even answer the call you're not allowed to argue you're not allowed to raise your voice you're not allowed to have any form of profanity whatsoever in any way so in other words they're saying if you get upset with us because we're not honoring your warranty we're going to not honor your warranty so they're trying to make people angry so that they can void out the warranty and save the money
I bought a Hamilton beach freezer and…
I bought a Hamilton beach freezer and it only works on the highest level after being told by Homedepot I needed to contact curtis warranty I did and sent them everything they requested then they kept telling me that the receipt from homedepot was not enough to prove that it was what I said it was it should be noted that I sent them pictures of every side of the freezer including the s/n number and the stickers on the unit and still after 2 months that continue to give me the same run around. I guess I should've done more research on the unit and this company as any company that refuses to post a phone number is a scaming unit also the fact that they are located out of the US should've a key indicator that they are scammed.

Review of Frigidaire Ice Maker:
I purchased this unit in April, and by August it had already failed. While it produced decent ice, it never came close to the advertised capacity, though it did make enough for light use.
Unfortunately, the design is flawed. Every time the drawer is opened, water leaks out. The “solution” provided was a small tray meant to catch the water, but since the water spills to the sides rather than the front, the tray is essentially useless.
The warranty service has also been very disappointing. Although the representatives were polite, the process was inefficient and frustrating. After completing their requirements (photos, receipt, personal information, etc.), I called back two days later because they rejected the photos, could not view the video I sent, and were unable to open either the audio file or the PDF of my receipt. They asked me to resend everything and admitted they would not have followed up for several more days if I had not called. Their own phone greeting warns against abusive language, which makes sense now—I can see how customers could become very frustrated with the process.
The unit itself failed due to what appears to be bad bearings in the compressor or fan. Since it stopped producing ice altogether, I suspect the compressor.
Overall, we are very disappointed in the quality. Frigidaire once had a reputation for dependable appliances, but this experience has convinced us that the brand is not what it used to be.
Edit:
After 11 email messages and three phone calls the company now wants me to send the unit back to them and for me to be responsible for packaging the unit and shipping it to them! Unbelievable that I paid $189.00 for this item and they want me to pay for shipping their defective product back to them. Again, I cannot stress enough that you do not want to purchase this ice maker!

Hamilton Beach refrigerator was delivered with the freezer light not working bought the refrigerator from walmart.com. They wanted me to return the refrigerator after I carried the thing up a flight of stairs and put it in my kitchen for a burned out lightbulb Hamilton Beach said they would not warranty and did not sell parts inside the refrigerator. What a joke it's a freaking light and you can't buy a new one .will never buy from Walmart .com again we never buy another Hamilton beach product.

I have purchased two separate units because the Product does make very good chewable ICE. After about 6 months both units have completely quit working. At 1st the the units still worked, but the Light Panel went out out on both units, so you could not tell if it was ON or OFF. Later the 2nd unit started making a squeling noise and quit working all together.
I started calling and emailing Frigidaire / Curtis to see how to cover the warranty. This has gone on for over 2 months and I still don't have any resolution on both cases. I keep being asked to send pictures, Videos, sales tickets, and still there is no resolution.

We bought a refrigerator from Costco at the end of December, along with an extended 3-year warranty. Less than 6 months later, the upper section of the fridge has completely stopped cooling. When we contacted customer support, their response was infuriating — they demanded a series of photos, including one of the rear of the fridge.
This is a large, heavy appliance and pulling it out just to get a rear photo is both unreasonable and unnecessary, especially since we’ve already provided all relevant details. Still, they refused to move forward without it.
Honestly, my biggest mistake was trusting Hamilton Beach and not going with a reliable brand like Whirlpool or Samsung. Absolutely unacceptable experience — terrible product and even worse customer service. Wish i could have given a negative

Don't purchase Frigidaire because if it stops working and you have a warranty it will go to Curtis International and they will ghost you - never to be heard from again. You can call and they say they will email, nope, you will be strung along
