Staff were really helpful and friendly but not too overbearing.

I would particularly like to thank Andrea who to the time to demonstrate the extending tables in the Stamford showroom. They explained the difference in the fabrics available for the sofa and different fillings for the seating. Also down to finer detail of dining chairs to match the table of choice. The transaction was completed efficiently with colleague Ena at the till. Delivery of items explained. Overall an excellent experience and sensible prices and I would highly recommend visiting this store fore home life furnishings.

The staff were there to help and offer advice when needed but weren’t pushy. They knew the products well and were able to talk about them comprehensively. Customers gets a personal approach and feel like they are important and given time to decide on options. We visited the Stamford store on two occasions and were very very impressed with the service offered by Ina and Julie.

Having had an email conversation with Natasha prior to our visit to your Stamford store with regards to information on the Chester wardrobe it was a pleasure to meet her in person. She then continued her excellent customer service by placing my order for this wardrobe and organising delivery for me.
Your staff in this particular store are a credit to the company.

I recently purchased an Ashbee 4 Seater Sofa from the Cotswold Company in Stamford and had a really positive experience throughout.

Before buying, I visited the store several times and Louise was absolutely superb—she took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered helpful, knowledgeable advice without any pressure.

When I returned to place my order, I decided to do it in-store rather than online, and I’m glad I did. The whole team were excellent—friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They clearly explained all the available options, including interest-free finance, which made the process straightforward and reassuring.

Overall, great customer service and a genuinely pleasant buying experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Updated on 4th June: The delivery has just taken place - sofa made, delivered and installed in room within one month - Phenomenal service. Big shout out to Ryan and Silas too who delivered, lovely chaps who were mindful of my property and offered super service.

Fantastic costumer service from Sarah the lovely lady who helped me purchase the sofa in the Stamford store . And the Guys Rich & Daz who gave great communication on arrival time came almost to the minute and were really friendly and helpful. and made sure everything was ok. EXCELLENT costumer service from the purchasing of the sofa to delivery. And that's hard to find these days..

Polite, attentive, but not overbearing or pushy, staff. Provided samples, helped us try different coverings, and generally helped us decide on a product without pressure.

We had Bernard & Jason deliver our new unit to us. Both of them were very friendly, professional and easy to talk to. The were very attentive to ensure I was happy with the delivery and were happy to discuss any questions I had.
The unit has some damage which they reported on my behalf to which I received an email about the same day.

Great range of furniture and accessories only let down by having to pay a significant amount to have an armchair delivered upstairs m. We have used Cotswold for many years and purchased quite a few pieces of furniture and accessories m. It was disappointing to be told we had to pay a premium price for delivery upstairs

This is not meant to be a negative review. And nor do I want the company to read it as that. I did just want to point out to people who might have the same experience as I have done this last week, that there could be a problem with the company delivering furniture upstairs. In my case it was a small sofa. Before I explain about that, I will say that the showroom personnel were excellent and the person from customer care whom I contacted, in order to sort out the matter when I was told that it wasn't going to be possible to deliver my item upstairs, was courteous and prompt in her response. My staircase has a bend midway up and then obviously there is a set of spindles with a banister. The delivery team judged that this was a health and safety issue, and could not guarantee that they would agree to deliver the item upstairs on arrival. The same sketch of a set of stairs is on the accompanying paperwork, which the Cotswold company asked bus to fill in prior to delivery, with our measurements added, so I judge that this type of staircase is not unusual in a house. It was made clear that were I to want to go ahead with the order, it might be my responsibility for ensuring that I could take the sofa upstairs, which obviously I was not willing to do. The products are absolutely great, and the quality is sublime. However, if you do buy from this company, bear in mind what I have written. I went in to John Lewis yesterday afternoon, bought a sofa of exactly the same dimensions, discussed the matter with them and was told that there would be absolutely no problem at all delivering it upstairs. I showed them the photographs of the stairway which I've taken for the Cotswold Company. No problem. Anyway, good luck, everybody, and I wish the company well. My money has been refunded promptly and there is no ill will. Marie.

availability of some items I was considering purchasing, the lady i spoke to was very helpful, I was able to place my order over the phone, hopefully I’ll receive it in a few weeks time

Great quality furniture and received fantastic service from the staff in the Stamford shop and the delivery guys, Danile.p and Ryan. It was a difficult delivery as we are on the first floor and the items were large. They made it look easy and were very polite and professional

Just taken delivery of a Hurley two- seater sofa - definitely worth the wait to have it made. Looks great and very comfortable. And delivered with great care and attention by Eduardas and his mate.
