Order did not arrive very quickly.
The bench that our charity ordered was over £800 and we had no issues with this. However , the finish as far as we were concerned did leave something to be desired in that the screws were quite deep and the holes were not filled in/covered. We did query this and were told that this was the usual finish.
We have subsequently filled the holes in ourselves to enhance the appearance and prevent the holes filling with water.
Not very good for an £800 bench !!!

We've just made our second order with CostCutters after a successful first one! Delighted with our chairs that we've saved up for a while for! Quick customer service and delivery. Abi kept us up to date with changes and delivery dates etc and sorted us out when our initial colour choice was unavailable. Hence a second order and we are just as pleased with the service again!

Dreadful experience!! Waited six weeks for delivery of the most overpriced, poor quality product. Refused delivery. Hope refund is forthcoming!
Ordering was simple and easy. Our trolley was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. Great price too!!

We still have not received our order and now been told it will not arrive until the end of June. Had we known this in advance we definitely would not have placed this order .

Customer service genuinely went above and beyond to meet a very tight deadline! It may sound cliché, but Lucy Cook truly made it her mission to ensure my order arrived exactly when I needed it. She personally called to help me choose colours that were in stock, then liaised directly with the supplier to negotiate delivery dates. Lucy kept in close contact, calling and emailing to reassure me every step of the way and remained my single point of contact throughout. Absolutely faultless service, for which I was immensely grateful. Thank you!

I had trouble making a payment through the website - my fault entirely as it transpires I was getting the billing address wrong. My first thought though was that I would be charged for something I didn't actually purchase.
I called and spoke to Lucy Cook who was very very understanding, diagnosed the problem, and sent the necessary paperwork over to evidence that no charge would be levied. She then sent me a pro-forma invoice and processed my payment directly so that it was easier for me to make the payment.
Quality of the items is good, and delivery time is great but the customer service here was genuinely excellent, and Lucy was very understanding and professional in the face of my concerns.

I haven't given 5 stars because one item we ordered wasn't available and I don't feel it should have been on sale. However the staff I dealt with were so helpful and responsive. The item prices were good and delivery was quick.

The customer relations staff, Freya and especially Abi Hart, really worked hard to make sure the delivery of chairs to a church hall went smoothly.
This was no easy task as chairs damaged in transit, replacements, and problems pinning the delivery company used by the suppliers to a time slot, caused complications.
It was great to have someone I could contact easily and who was so willing to help.

Ordered a desk and cupboard (1/5/25)web site said in stock 7 days delivery - a week later received a email saying delivery was not due until 3/6/25 ! why do a lot off online stores promise delivery then once you pay extend the dates ? I emailed customer services and got a reply saying delivery would be next day 14/5/25 I waited in all day no delivery ! I called customer services at 16,40 to be told there was a problem but they didn't know what the problem was ! but would contact me the following morning - I received a email saying delivery would not be until the 6/7/25 - they still not answered why they told me delivery would be next day ! now its been moved another 3 weeks forward to a Friday so nothing I can do if I sit in and wait all day again when they fail to turn up till the Monday ! when I spoke to customer services yesterday I asked for a refund as I have lost any trust in what they are saying ! I asked for a email to confirm this has taken place but no email no contact again ! I will try again this morning to contact for a refund if not will have to cancel payment with my bank ! Just put your hands up say sorry for the bad experience and refund me !
