Chancellors have been amazing especially during the current house buying climate. They are efficient always answer the telephone and return calls promptly. I have found Wharton based at Llandridod Wells exceptional five star service. Highly recommend

The service I received, or rather didn’t receive, was nothing short of appalling. I made an enquiry, which was initially handled professionally, and a viewing booked in for the subsequent day.
I’m not normally in the habit of writing poor reviews, if I have good service I will always state it, though if I have bad service, I tend to vote with my feet and not use that company again. On this occasion, I feel it absolutely necessary to publish the disgusting and disdainful way I was treated.
The viewing was booked in at 11:30 am, with a representative of Chancellors. My wife called the office at 11:35 as the representative had not arrived to state that she was definitely en route.
The representative arrived at 11:50 am, not even apologising for being late, stating she could not find the property, this was in a small village in mid Wales, with a for sale board directly outside the house???
If we could find a house, why couldn’t the agent?
Whilst this was forgivable, We then failed to gain access to the property, as the key was not available in the key safe, and no access was possible.
The representative made numerous calls to the office, the first five of which were not answered to ascertain was there any way of gaining access to view the property.
Having driven from Kent, which is a round-trip of circa 520 miles, to view a property that we could not gain access to, was extremely frustrating and costly, luckily we had also viewed another property with a different agent in the same locality and all was not lost.
The local office has subsequently failed to call us to try and rearrange an appointment, or redress the diabolical service received.
Luckily, I am not a paying customer of chancellors and therefore have only received a failed buying experience.
If I was the vendor of the property that I was trying to view, I would be disgusted with the apathy experienced, and would certainly be seeking to give the instruction to a more professional agency, though unfortunately, I have to say what a little of the property we did see, was just as bad as the service with very inaccurate details given.

Throughout the whole process of renting a property recently from Chancellor’s Estate agents I found all the staff to be very polite, efficient and professional. In particular Lauren, who really has been amazingly helpful. She went above and beyond to guide me through, what could of been quite a stressful time . Her patience and kindness was so refreshing and appreciated. She has always responded promptly and explained everything we needed to do. I would definitely recommend this company and I’m happy to say there are still lovely people who will go out of their way to make life easier for others.
