I really haven’t had to use it, but I trust it to be there when I do.

I like the feeling of security of knowing my files are backed up. However the interface for reviewing and searching files that are backed up by Carbonite could be more user friendly. Would it be possible to have the folder appears like it is on my computer?

Sorry but I've really not had any interaction with Carbonite so cannot give a review. It works in the background and I just know I have it.

Carbonite works.

The program is really easy to use, and the files are easy to find. I do have a PC with 2 drives on it, and Carbonite will only allow me to backkup one drive. I don't understand why I can't back up the entire computer.

My wife reloaded her new computer without any issues. It worked very well.

Have no idea if Carbonite is worth anything. If I get hacked and loose files, how do I retrieve them?

It's peace of mind. I know everything is being backed up, without my having to remember to do anything.

I've used Carbonite since they started after hearing about it on NPR. I've had a couple computers totally crash since them with my 30,000 digital photos on them. Each time, I just get a repair done or a new computer, Carbonite seemlessly puts everything back like it was. I really appreciate knowing that my digital memories are safe with Carbonite. Thanks!

Carbonite offers a sense of security for my computers. I have had them retrieve files one time and they got it done quickly.

Recently my husband purchased a new Laptop from Costco. Soon after setting it up and all the files were downloaded via Carbonite, the Laptop crashed completely. The machine had to be completely reconfigured. Fortunately all the files had been stored with Carbonite and everything was recovered. Excellent support from level 2 at Carbonite

Recently I had a problem with Carbonite uninstalling (somehow), compounded by my being unable to retrieve my password. CS got back to me quickly with the links to reinstall, and how to reset my password, and without and further assistance I was able to get up and running again.

I haven't yet had to retrieve any files but the backup process has worked very smoothly for me for several years. I currently have 3.4M files backed up, about 5.4TB in total storage.
