Not having purchased a new vehicle before without going through an authorised dealership, we were nervous in going down this route. However, the money that we would save on the model that we wanted was a huge incentive so we decided to venture down this path. And how glad we were that we did. The deal was concluded easily, all by telephone, email and electronic money transfer. The vehicle came on the day that it was promised, on a low-loader driven by a very helpful man who went through the full details of our new car. Our old vehicle which was going as a trade-in was collected a few hours later and the deal was done and dusted. On both occasions the drivers telephoned to confirm times, etc. We would certainly recommend Car and Van Autos and Michael Lawless, who was helpful and considerate at all times. A great way to get a good deal and we would do it again.

A supplier you can trust, its not comfortable buying from an untried company over the internet, you are always cautious. But this purchase was a breeze, purchased a car at a good price and spec.
Also, I am always sceptical about handing people money before I have the goods, but my new vehicle arrived as promised with no bother and in perfect condition. Thanks Mike.

I bought a brand new Qashqai from Car and Van Discount. I was initially looking for a year old car, but the offer from CVD for a brand new car was more competitive. I found them highly professional, honest and responsive to deal with - very much recommended if you are looking for a new car.

Absolutely brilliant service all round. I have never purchased anything online for anywhere near the amount of a new car, in this case a Nissan X Trail, so I was very nervous, especially with my sceptical nature!! Everything was exactly as Mick and his colleagues had said and the exact timeline was adhered to, including collection of a part exchange. This was my first time using Car & Van Discount so I approached buying on line with caution. I had no problems with CVD during the transaction, although delivery of my stock vehicle took longer than expected. However, the delay was a dealer supply issue and not a reflection CVD, so I would use them again.

To buy this way you need good communication from the vendor especially when you transfer your cash 2 days before delivery! I have to say Car and Van Discount (I dealt with Michael Lawless) were exceptional. The process was clearly described, all my questions were answered swiftly and clearly. My car arrived in the time slot I was given. Both the delivery driver and the chap collecting the px were polite and personable. I got the car I wanted and saved 6k over the dealer price. I ordered a Nissan Qashqai from Car and Van Discount on 12th June. I was nervous but having checked as much as I could, I went ahead - paying the deposit by credit card. Mike had suggested sometime after 14th July for delivery but he rang to say the car was ready for delivery on 9th July. I part-ex'd our previous car (for less than I'd hoped but better than offered by We Buy Any Car). The delivery was by transporter so we took delivery with only 4 miles on the clock ! V5 arrived 3 weeks later so all very good - saving £7k on the list price. From my experience, I can highly recommend them.

The car was driven to my door from a Ford dealer by a really friendly guy with delivery miles.

My old car got picked up and I was given the full quoted amount (it was in good nick for 4yrs but expected some haggling).

Micheal Lawless helped me with all my queries along the way and always quickly returned my emails. Got to say his customer service is exceptional.

My only concern was the 6mth retaining of the v5 document as there are scare stories online. It's clearly stated on the sales quote and might not apply to all cars. But it's just like my wifes lease and if it saves this kind of money then im prepared to take the risk.

I recently completed the purchase of a brand new Skoda Octavia VRS Estate with car and can discount. I was a bit apprehensive about finalising the deal, as had read some scare mongering online. However, Peter White (my sales contact) assured me with answers in writing to my questions.

Saved over £7k compared to Skoda website price. Other comparison sites and local dealers couldn't price match the offer.

V5 certificate arrived a few days ago, with car registered to me on 22/5, with driven delivery to me on 23/5.

I had my reservations beforehand but their Business Manager (Michael Lawless) put me at ease from the first minute of our conversation. I bought a Nissan Qashqai a top of the range model and I got a discount of over £7000 from the main dealer price. I got the colour I wanted and was able to choose a delivery date to suit me. Good communication from the delivery company and also from the company picking my old car up as I part exchanged.

I was very nervous about sending the money to an online company but please don't worry it was fine and they confirmed that the money arrived safely.

The saying goes that if something sounds too good to be true then it probably isn't, well it is in this case!!
