"The service provided by this company is completely unacceptable. They treat their customers poorly, and a business operating under such standards should not exist."
I am writing to formally reject your offer of a $75 compensation. This is entirely unacceptable.
A certified technician has just inspected the stove and officially confirmed that the glass cooktop is severely defective and completely ruined, requiring a full replacement. This is a functional and structural defect, not a "surface stain" or "spillage" as you previously claimed.
Please be advised that under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, appliances sold must be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose. Selling a floor model or "open-box" item does not legally absolve your company from liability for hidden structural defects that render the appliance unusable within days of delivery.
As a senior citizen close to 80 years old, the past two weeks have caused me immense stress, and your refusal to answer my numerous phone calls (nearly 20 attempts) is deeply disrespectful.
If this matter is not resolved immediately with a full refund or a complete replacement of the unit, I will take the following immediate steps:
File a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario.
Initiate a claim in the Ontario Small Claims Court for a full refund plus damages for the stress caused.
Share my experience, along with your written responses, across all major social media platforms and public review sites to warn other consumers.
I expect a prompt resolution from management.

The company sent me a refurbished unit…
The company sent me a refurbished unit instead of a brand-new one. There was no box or plastic wrap on the body of the refrigerator—only on the door and handles. The salesperson did not follow up on my email. I suspect the reason was that the company matched the prices of a big-box stores but made up for the difference in profit by sending me a refurbished unit and didn’t fully disclose the details of their deal. Better to buy from reputable stores.

i had terrible experience with CAS
i had terrible experience with CAS. i bought dryer and washer online, but delivery was horrible because i live in a condo. They would not give delivery time the day before delivery after 7 pm. For living in a condo, i need to book moving elevator for washer and dryer. There is no way i can book elevator in time for this short period of time, especially during weekend. When the driver came, our conceirge allowed us to use other elevator because of the situation, but CAS driver refuse to use another elevator but leave. At the end, charged me 73 dollars for second time delivery, and same issue happened again. The delivery is third party service, literally feel they had this delivery notice procedure try to rip customer off. When i called customer service, no one can come with a solution but ask me cancel ordee. i would not use CAS anymore. Horrible experience

I did a fair bit of shopping around for a new Bosch dishwasher and while the prices were all similar, I went back to CAS because Jay was flat-out the most trustworthy of everyone I’d spoken with. He was straightforward, no “salesy” cr&p and he made sure that I would have my new dishwasher installed within 2 days. The delivery and installation teams were fabulous too - on-time, professional, courteous. All in all a great experience.
