Great customer service

Rebel our French Bulldog always enjoys the treats and toys in his BusterBox. I wanted to say how great the customer service from Mandy was last year too. Rebs was poorly on 2 separate occasions in 2 months with extensive vet treatment and with no fuss, just empathy and genuine care, we were able to pause his boxes. It was a really stressful time and BB being so understanding and easy to deal with honestly made such a difference

Locked me into a 12 month subscription…

Locked me into a 12 month subscription without my knowledge, refused to respond to me on several occasions (currently I have been ignored for over a week) they have then proceeded to take more money off of me after I have cancelled everything and continued to HOLD onto their products because I have been waiting on advice to return since I am being forced to return the items due to their error.

They have not provided me any compensation, they have barely acknowledged my existence and I was disgusted to see another buster box delivery at my door today. Crap toys, RUBBISH treats, honestly very terrible value for money all round.

DO NOT buy from these people, they are a complete joke and will scam you out of your money.

Hi there,

We’re sorry to read that you feel this way, but we do need to clarify a few important points.

No one is “locked into” a 12-month subscription without their knowledge. During the sign-up process, customers are clearly asked to choose between a 1, 6, or 12-month subscription. If your account is on a 12-month plan, this is the option that was selected at checkout.

We’re also concerned to hear that you feel ignored. We reply to all emails within 24 hours (Monday–Friday). If you haven’t seen a response, it’s possible our reply may have gone into your junk/spam folder. We would never intentionally ignore a customer.

Regarding cancellations and returns, UK Citizens Advice guidance explains that when a subscription is opened and a customer later decides they no longer wish to continue, unused goods should be returned, or payment should be made to cover the cost of goods already received and used during the active subscription period.

Where customers sign up to a longer-term plan that includes a heavily discounted first box (50% off) and a free bed as part of the promotional offer, those items are provided on the basis that the subscription commitment is honoured. Unfortunately, we do occasionally see situations where someone claims the promotional items and then attempts to cancel immediately without returning the goods or covering the promotional cost. That would not be fair or sustainable for any small business. It is only fair that someone who decides to sign up and complete a six or 12-month subscription receives a beautiful welcome gift.

We believe our approach is a fair way to manage cancellations — customers can either:
• Return any unused goods, or
• Make payment to cover the promotional items received (such as the discounted box and bed), after which the account can be closed with no further payments taken.

In your case, if you chose to keep the bedding box supplied at 50% off, we simply require payment to cover that promotional item. Once resolved, your subscription can be cancelled fully.

We’re genuinely sorry you’re unhappy with the products, as many of our customers love their boxes. Our aim is always to be transparent and fair, and we are more than willing to resolve this directly with you.

My puppy loves these boxes

We love buster box I signed up for 6 month subscription and the first two boxes have been amazing! Also came with a bed which my puppy loves. Thank you! I recommend to dog lovers and it gives good ideas on what treats to get your dog and gives you a chance to trial different ones to see what they do and don't like. Also toys are good quality!

I did write a bad review due to the delivery issues and the fact I didn't think it was worth the money. But they have been very helpful with me for cancelling the subscription. So I'm writing a better review. It's all about affordability I suppose. The dog bed I was very happy with my dogs did love it and the treats TBF but I just couldn't see the worth of having to pay £30 a month for 2 bags of treats and 2 toys. Especially after such difficulties with delivery etc

Highly recommend, great communication, quick delivery well packaged, fast response from customer services who are so happy to help with any questions.

Taking payment although cancelled

Not only the box is overpriced for what you get, they continue trying to take payment after cancellation.
The products in my box were all available at cheap stores such as B&M and barely anything in the box, would cost around £4 for £5 for the contents I received - I was disappointed.

Buster box

This company are amazing, my dog loves getting these boxes, she gets so excited when she sees them come through the door, they have always gone above and beyond for me when I have had the need to contact them, definitely give them a try, you wont regret it

Overpriced, take your money but don’t send the goods.

12/02 - Just an update that they have cancelled the box I’ve paid for without informing me, after they responded to this review.

Don’t waste your time. Signed up to a 6 month subscription in December. The free bed ‘worth £60’ can be bought online for about £15-£20. Also didn’t send one for the size of my dog. So overpriced. I found the toys and treats online for a few pound each, doesn’t add up to anywhere near £30. I never received my second box this month, no replies to emails but they’re trying to take a third payment when they haven’t even sent my second box. I’ve had to put a block against the company on my bank & now trying to claim my money back for the box I never received.

I’d like to clarify that we have replied to all emails sent, and your payment on 21 January fell after our monthly cut-off date of the 13th, meaning your next box was scheduled for shipment on 15 February. This is outlined in our subscription terms, but I appreciate it can be frustrating if this isn’t clear at the time of sign-up.

We’re more than happy to adjust billing dates, resolve any sizing issues, or discuss alternative options so this works better for you.

They are delivering the best toys and…

They are delivering the best toys and yummy treats to my dogs each month they always send lovely emails on how to make our dogs happy with what's inside there Buster Box.there so helpful and really lovely people who brighten up our dogs day,once every month I have the happiest dogs that's priceless.

Luna loves her buster box her favourite snack is the mickey bixs and the peanut butter bar. She loves her toys and snacks she never not enjoyed her boxes she recieves. She always waits for it to be delivered. Thanks again for a amazing box we cant wait to recieve the next one

Charged 3 times 1 box received

I’ve been charged 3 times received 1 box. I can’t cancel but they apparently they don’t have to send anything? I also emailed to request access to the free vet service they offer 2 months ago and still no response. Do not bother quite literally the worst service ever. There are better boxes out there.

Extremely poor experience from start to…

Extremely poor experience from start to finish. The first box was overpriced and contained toys that were completely unsuitable for a large breed dog. When I exercised my legal right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, the process was unnecessarily complicated and dragged out for weeks. I had to send multiple emails just to get a return QR code and confirmation of cancellation, and even then, they continued to keep my account “active” and charged me for another box after I had already cancelled.
Customer service was evasive, repeatedly ignored clear requests, and failed to confirm cancellation promptly. This feels like a deliberate tactic to make returns difficult and retain payments. I would strongly advise avoiding this company — poor value for money, misleading practices, and terrible customer service.
