Up until now Fine, Now attempting early renewal
Up until now, after several years, all OK, now I have worrying behaviour from the app - I have multi device protection expiring in more than a year, I had an expiry request today on the pc. I logged onto my account on the browser and confirmed I am not expired. I click on the chat link on the pc alert and I get to a message: "This page doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved. Go back to the home page"
How can a chat/help link from their app not work, after 5 minutes of going back and forth on my account searching for a non-existent alternative to 'chat' the renewal alert has dissappeared. Is this a hack, a malfunction or a scam - very worrying from a company and app that is supposed to safeguard my security.

Jeg har faktisk været glad for jeres premium produkt og er det stadig - meeen for søren hvor er det slidsomt at være i kontakt med jeres support og på my account siden, som man hele tiden bliver henvist til af support, kan man faktisk ikke redigere ret meget.
Det hele startede for over 1 år siden, hvor jeg kontaktede support, fordi jeg kunne se at jeg var sat til 10 enheder og havde kun behov for tre. Det kunne man ikke rette ned selv på my account, så det ordnede en supporter - skrev han - og det jeg havde betalt for meget ville blive modregnet i næste opkrævning. Det blev det ikke og antal enheder var stadig ti ved næste opkrævning.
Før weekend kontaktede jeg derfor support for at få det ordnet - igen. For at hun kunne tilgå min account skulle hun så have diverse oplysninger - jeg endte med at fremsende faktura, så jeg ikke skulle sende oplysninger 10 gange mere.
På vejen har jeg fået oplyst, at jeg tilsyneladende har to abonnementer. Det burde ikke kunne lade sig gøre i og med, at jeg har opgraderet den oprindelige version via my account og ikke har købt nyt andet steds fra? Men det vil da forklare, hvorfor jeg føler at jeg betaler hvert år og ikke hvert andet. Jeg har spurgt support til, hvornår I processen de to abonnementer er startet, og om den gamle version stadig kører sideløben med premium. Jeg har spurgt om nedlæggelsen af bullguard for XP og Vista får betydning for min premium i og med at den oprindelige version var til XP, Vista og 2000. Intet svar.
Jeg har modtaget underlig besked, hvor jeg fik besked fra bullguard på PC om at abonnementet i svarede til konto - men ingen forklaring modtaget.
Jeg har selv været inde og sætte op, så det ikke var muligt at forny automatisk, men for at kunne komme til funktionen måtte jeg trykke på en knap, hvor der stod more. det foregik på mobil, hvilket kan have haft uhensigtsmæssig påvirkning på skærmbilledet og output - men jeg fik ikke flere funktioner frem - men istedet tilbud om et abonnement med nu 15 enheder. Så det var ikke flere muligheder at vælge mellem - men flere enheder. Jeg trykkede tilbage uden at takke ja til abonnementet, men da jeg kom tilbage stod der nu, at det var betalt??? Øh, lidt fusket måske. Og der står nu, at jeg kan downloade det. Support skrev at jeg kunne fortryde et køb 30 dage bagefter - men jeg har aldrig takket ja og der findes ikke nogen funktion, hvor jeg kan afbestille endsige fortryde. Men jeg ved ikke om jeg har købt det? Jeg ved ikke hvad de to abonnementer dækker - og jeg får intet svar.
Og jeg ved, at hvis bullguard svarer herinde, så vil jeg få et link til Support (suk). Prøv at få en telefon linje - meget er betydeligt nemmere på den måde. Nu kan jeg så læse på den tidligere anmeldelse, at de har nedlagt chatten?? I fredags skrev supporter, at hun syntes jeg skulle henvende mig der - er der nogen der har styr på noget på den support?
Det stiller jo spørgsmål ved om mail funktion også er nedlagt? For så er der ingen mulige måder at kontakte Bullguard på længere.
Men ærligt talt, Bullguard, så er det synd for jeres eget fine produkt, at jeres interface med brugeren er så ringe. Såvel på my account som på support. Så vil man altså ikke ret gerne have kunder i butikken.
Så jeg synes I skal - når I nu lægger op til selvbetjening - så skal designe en my account side, hvor man rent faktisk kan gøre noget selv og hvor tingene er noget bedre forklaret.
Jeg vil gerne, såfremt jeg uden at have takket ja til et køb rent faktisk har købt et nyt abonnement alligevel, så have købet annulleret. Hvis der istedet er tale om, at mit gamle bullguard har kørt sideløben med opgraderingen til premium som to forskellige abonnementer, have penge tilbage for den gamle version som jeg så uden at vide det har betalt til i en del år?

Dårlig adgang til support
Jeg har i mange år været rimelig tilfreds med BG og dens support, men nu virker BG chat ikke og jeg kan ikke komme igennem til Jer om den fejl BG melder. Efterfølgende har jeg også fået problemer med mit password til BG, hvor jeg bliver smidt videre til avera-bullguard.com.zendesk.com. Når jeg mailer til BG-support svares der bare at I vender tilbage snarest.
BG har i en senere mail bedt mig om at vurdere deres kundeservice, men jeg kan ikke afsende min vurdering - linket virker tilsyneladende ikke!
Derfor lægger jeg det ind her i forlængelse af tidligere anmeldelse.
Den personlige support i chat-online er helt i top, og har hjulpet mig med at få løst mine problemer, men adgangen til den med forkerte links fejler, og kontakten til BG support er dermed meget vanskelig. Også informationen om kontakt er mangelfuld - bla. har jeg ikke kunnet se åbningstiderne.
Jeg har brugt alt for meget tid på at få kontakt til support, og hvis det ikke bliver rettet op vil jeg formodentlig ikke forny mit abonnement når den tid kommer.

I'm trying to cancel a subscription that was taking by auto renewal just now .There is no option to get a refund and cancel and the customer service is non existant.Dont use this company as you will see by the reveiws they are only answering happy customers .I have now received confirmation to say I have been refunded, not the easiest journey .But I have now edited my reveiw.
Nicht abschaltbare Hintergrund Funktionen fressen CPU radikal
Ich nutze meinen Computer gewerblich. Habe mir die Vollversion "Internet Security 2021 + 3 Lizenzen" leider ohne zu testen gekauft. Mein Computer seine CPU und die Lüfter sind plötzlich ausgerastet. Nach Fehlersuche habe ich entdeckt das ein "e-mail monitoring service" immer im Hintergrund läuft. Obwohl alles abgeschaltet ist. Man kann es nicht stoppen. Es läuft auf meinem Win10 Rechner mit 32GB Ram, mit einem CPU Verbrauch mit 40-100%> wass ein misst, ich will mein Geld zurück !

I have not purchased ever from Bullguard.com so I'm not commenting on their products.
Without doubt my biggest concern is "Continuous Payment Authority"
It's about time it was scrapped as it is open to abuse and fraud.
I would not go near any company that had poor feedback for CPA's.
DO NOT BUY VPN
I have found their anitvirus exceptional so I took out VPN. It just turns off my wifi the second I connect it. Customer services have been dealing with it for over a month with no success. True I can't be hacked but that is because I can't use the internet, it makes the system foolproof but pointless

Sick of Bullgaurd spamming me to buy there stuff when still weeks before they expire, also cannot run decent stuff because they quarantine legit stuff how bad is that, i just uninstalled them
I would advise extreme caution!
I would advise extreme caution before signing up to any Bullguard product based on my father’s experience; he’s in his 80’s, uses IT as best he can (like many during COVID) but doesn’t understand it. The issue I describe below has caused him considerable anxiety.
He has been a loyal customer for over 10 years using Bullguard’s antivirus software arranged for him at the time by a friend who helped with his IT; his friend is no longer able to help with this.
In Feb this year my father got a Bullguard email which he thought was a renewal request for his antivirus. He promptly paid approx £100 for the renewal and thought nothing more of it. In October this year, Bullguard took another approx £100 which he assumed was an error so he contacted Bullguard. He struggled to get an explanation he could understand or any resolution from Bullguard so he mentioned it to me.
What soon became clear was my father had mistakenly signed up for Bullguard’s VPN service in Feb. My father has no need of a VPN. He has never used a VPN. He does not know what a VPN is.
I raised this on behalf of my father as soon as we were aware of the issue in October. Our assumption was Bullguard would understand the issue and would be keen put it right for a loyal customer, let alone an elderly, vulnerable customer. How wrong we were.
Bullguard were having none of it. They can clearly see this was an error as he has never used the VPN he bought in error but will not do the right thing and refund him. Having researched this a little online, it is clear that my father’s case is not an isolated one. Yet Bullguard deny all responsibility. They may believe their marketing comms are clear but the number of people with similar issues would appear to indicate otherwise. That is certainly my fathers experience, an experience that has caused him considerable upset and anxiety and has dented his confidence; not what I expect from a company that is meant to be there to safeguard it’s customers.
I would advise people to think very carefully before signing up to Bullguard based on my father’s experience.

I have been trying to get reimbursed for purchasing the VPN Software instead of the regular Antivirus...Since June 23, 2021. I have been getting the runaround since that date. Numerous interactions with the chat line, an email to the complaint department...no response.
I have been a customer for at least 6 years, the Antivirus works well. This reimbursement should
have been a straight forward transaction.

Ik heb 5 jaar lang bullguard gebruikt om mijn computer te beveiligen tegen virussen. Uitstekende antivirus. Het heeft enorm snel in de gaten wat goed en slecht is. Je kunt ook kiezen als je internet toegang wilt geven aan bepaalde applicaties. Klantenservice is enorm goed! Ze reageren snel en zijn bijna altijd beschikbaar. Ik kan geen enkel nadeel noemen naast de prijs van een abonnement. Het komt met een prijskaartje om bullguard te gebruiken. Als je jouw computer gebruikt voor werk en je kunt niet je bestanden riskeren dan is bullguard een enorm goed programma om te hebben.
Games with trainers
I'm a gamer that likes to play story-based games and does not have a lot of time. So to fix that I use trainers. BullGuard quarantines trainers after being in use for 30 minutes, this make the games crash and causes disruptions. On top of that, there is no easy way to sent a file back to the original location without being sent back into quarantine immediately after. I will not be extending my subscription for the next period.

Jeg har været bruger af Bullguard siden sep 2011 men har nu valgt en anden løsning. Bullguard havde nået at trække betaling for 3 nye år, frem til 2024 men efter at have kontaktet deres support fik jeg pengene tilbage uden problemer. Dert var nemt at få kontakt via chat funktionen.
I feel that they take advantage
I view the actions of BullGaurd as fraud and a failure to comply with GDPR Legislation.
Somehow BullGaurd switched back on the auto renew and charged our Bank account without permission. And, to my mind that is fraud.
They then claim to have made a full refund and I will check next week to make sure that it has been paid. I was surprised how quickly and easily they claimed to do so and I assume this type of online activity is more common than we think. Hopefully they will at least honour this.
I them ask them to remove our private bank details and they refuse to do so point blank. They stated that once the auto renew is disabled it will no charge again and that they can not remove the bank details. This means that their system can change the settings and renew subscription without our permission.
The operator was a smart mouthed (or smart keyboard) operator. Because they did not like my insistence that are breaking UK law by refusing to remove our bank details I was being rude. I was not rude but, I did feel very cross so, I made sure that I was polite and not rude.
I will now report them and hopefully this will raise regulators and banks awareness to support others when BullGaurd operate in other unethical ways. I will also make sure I review their business on other review sites to spread the word. And, rest assured I will tell others not to use them.

I've used Bullguard Premium Protection…
I've used Bullguard Premium Protection for at least 3yrs. Each year BPP sends notification to renew. Without noticing, this year BPP renewal button led to "Internet Security Plan" which is like having no protection. Why have an ISP option button on a BPP? I am a BPP repeat regular customer and why confuse a simple renewal with a renewal button that leads to another plan? Are IT pros that far removed they do not see a format/design conflict?
