She was 5 star. I’ve felt isolated for a few years now and she has broken the wall down can’t thank her enough .

Had had a great experience at Boots Hearingcare in Carlisle. It started by being invited to have a free hearing test by a lady called Jasmine. I then saw Melissa for a 15 minute check and finally a long hearing test with Daniela. My hearing loss wasn’t huge but when Daniela had me try on some hearing aids I was amazed at how much more defined I could hear speech. She them used the computer to place some background sounds and I found I could clearly hear her asking me questions. The hearing aids and service was brilliant, so I decided to get them. It’s great to know there’s help out there for all levels of hearing loss. Thank you all.

Friendly staff and very knowledgable. The whole process - from booking my first appointment, to having my fitting - was easy and straightforward. Everything was explained to me and I was asked several times if I had any additional questions. The choice of hearing aids was extensive and each level was explained to me before I made my choice.

Daniela was very helpful and explained everything clearly. She's very thorough, and found out what areas my hearing loss is in. I haven't collected the aids yet, so can't comment on them.

I wouldn't have gone to Boots if I'd seen their Christmas advert first, though.

Daniela at Boots, Carlisle has been an excellent audiologist from assessment through to fitting and training in new hearing aids - and also helping navigate the somewhat cumbersome finance and on-line side, which, especially the finance, somewhat challenging. But the 5* is for Daniela and experience of new hearing aids.

Information and attention to detail enabled me to choose a pair of hearing aids with confidence.

An excellent service. The testing was very comprehensive, using a number of different tests to establish my hearing condition. The range of available hearing aids was also very good and time was spent discussing the various options.
However what made the Boots service so excellent was the professionalism, the outstanding service and the thoroughness of Danielle, who was understanding, positive and highly knowledgeable about her profession.
The technology is great, I feel quite bionic now with the app, the mobile phone connectivity and the TV adaptor.
I cannot fault Daniella or the service, only my own willingness to accept that I need these things in the first place. I still do not like wearing them, they make me feel old.
I will recommend the Boots service to anyone interested.

So much so l placed my order for the top of the range hearing aids to replace my NHS ones
