I was informed by Calor that I could return a patio gas canister to Redfields. A Blue Diamond Garden Centre. They suggested I phone before going so I did. The phone rang all the time with no one answering. I decided to drive there with my phone on hands free. It took me 20 minutes to get there with the phone ringing all the time. I arrived at the help desk to be met by a sign saying please go to the tills for help. I saw someone behind the counter and said to them I wanted to return the canister. They told me that I couldn’t. They insisted that they hadn’t been a Calor dealer in years. I had bought the canister from them before. I asked where I could dispose of it and was met with a blank gaze. Eventually one of the staff suggested the tip and told me that their phone hadn’t been ringing for the last 20 minutes and that they didn’t have a customer help desk anymore. 1) Why list a telephone number online for Redfields if no one will answer it? 2) Why tell me I could take the canister to the tip when I have found out I can’t? 3) Why not have a place to refer me to, to return the canister when I had bought it from them before? I can’t have been the only person who bought a canister from them to be returning it to them. 4) why is there no customer service? Are customers not important? Do you just want their money and then anything after that is “not my problem?” Have tried to email the below but it keeps bouncing. It seems an AI bot is responding as this email address given doesn’t work. My point exactly…. Zero customer service exists for this garden centre.

Easy to Shop at Melbicks
We usually make a quick visit when we're in the area. I needed compost, so went straight to the tills and a lovely girl sorted out our payment and a helpful young man came to load our car, it made it so easy not having to take the compost all through the store to pay for it.

I recently visited Canterbury Chartham…
I recently visited Canterbury Chartham Garden Centre with the intention of purchasing a few David Austin roses and (Harkness *not stocked) June is usually the perfect time to view and buy roses, so I was really looking forward to the visit.
Unfortunately, I was completely shocked by what I found. The condition of the roses was extremely poor—dry, under-watered, and showing clear signs of disease & stress, including black spot, Rose Rust, yellowing leaves, and faded, dead blooms. There was a large amount of stock, but much of it appeared old and as though it had been sitting there for quite some time.
Given the premium price and reputation of these roses, I expected them to be well cared for and properly maintained. Sadly, this was not the case at this particular Blue Diamond garden centre.
A very disappointing experience and such a shame to see.

Always like going to the garden centre…
Always like going to the garden centre for a cup of tea. Had lunch yesterday,although the heat was diabolical inside the dining area the staff we spoke to were extremely pleasant and helpful. Although there was one presumeably the supervisor? could have help the rest out in the heat. The food was extremely good and large portions. Well done ladies. Thank you

Don't expect to find the exit in a hurry
We visited the Trentham centre for the first time and found it to be well up to the excellent standard we are used to, but using the trick of making it difficult to get to the exit without having another full tour of every department is most annoying and needs reviewing.

This is a review for their restaurant. No aircon. Jacket potato cane without any butter at all, a tiny side salad that was brown at the edges. No taste to the meal, very disappointing, and fairly expensive

I gave Percy Throwers 5 stars been loads of times spent loads but it seems they have fined us £60.00 for staying more than 3 hours. We have been to many of their GC but NOW THEY CAN GO AND STUFF THEMSELVES We are never going to another of their stores again never spending one penny.
And I don't want apology from you You have lost our business if this is how we are treated.

Beckworth Emporium is a great place
Beckworth Emporium is a great place. The restaurant is excellent food of the highest quality and value for money. The food hall is superb. The plant are fantastic quality and these a reasonable range to choose from. The garden furniture and bbq equipment is of the highest quality. All round a great place to shop and eat. Well worth a visit.

A lovely place to visit
A lovely place to visit. The Garden Centre is a riot of colour with an extensive selection of plants, everything you would need,including garden furniture, barbecues and lovely accessories.
The food hall is truly wonderful with a great selection of cheese, meats, pastries, cakes and chocolates as well as lovely gift items.
The clothing selection was very tempting and I will return for the Autumn range and also to do Christmas shopping.
Had a wonderful day out with good coffee and a very nice lunch in a spacious air conditioning restaurant.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

5* accessibility
I took my disabled father to Fosseway Garden Centre last week. Parking the WAV Van was easy with lots of room to get the wheelchair out safely. The centre was arranged so that there was easy access all around inside and out. We started with tea and cakes. Absolutely delicious with friendly table service. Then we easily navigated the plant section to find what we wanted. Prices were reasonable and I bought myself 2 tea roses reduced to a £1 each. All in all a relaxing enjoyable outing for all of us.

A beautiful garden centre with something for everyone. Truly healthy wonderful plants, suggested displays, great gifts, tasty food, sumptuous clothing all beautifully displayed and friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. A real treat to visit and always come away with something! Good cafe for a break from shopping too. A really good garden centre.

Delightful home made cakes
Had a delightful home made cake in their tasteful (and cool!) restaurant.
Staff could not have been pleasanter.
Bought some very nice roses whilst we were there. Healthy plants that had been well looked after. All in all, a very enjoyable visit.

PCN Shrewsbury
Percy Throwers Shrewsbury no have a 3 hr parking limit, this makes a visit with my mother who uses a walkng aid very difficult to complete. I have today recieved a PCN, customer services (who should be able to cancel the charge (I have proof of purchase)) could not have been any less helpful.
Edit. I have since received a comprehensive response to an email query. It still means I have to chase the PCN through the company but at least explained the process for next time

Well worth a visit …
Absolutely love this garden centre- great for all the plants & literally everything else you could want for the garden, the clothes range is just brilliant- not cheap ( though have picked up the odd bargain in the sales) but the clothes are excellent quality & there's a huge choice. The café is also excellent- again, not cheap, but delicious. All the staff are always very friendly. Thoroughly recommend
