Great start to bank holiday break
We arrived very for a breakfast for 10 people on the way down to Christchurch. We were the first to arrive, and immediately felt welcome. Immediate service and our breakfast were all cooked fresh and arrived shortly afterwards. They were delicious. Could not recommend it enough.

Rude serving staff
Great plants and a good variety overall. Always found the staff in the outside area helpful and approachable, but I've just experienced the checkout staff talking amongst themselves with two lines of customers to serve and a staff member actually scanned a couples plants then preseeded to talk over them to another customer about her dogs, next she ignored the paying customers so she could give the dogs treats whilst taking a long time to do so. How rude and ignorant of her and I hope I would be treat with more respect as I behave towards others. This was Little Eaton centre

Appalling restaurant queues
All good in the garden centre ... except the restaurant. HUGE queues reaching right across the restaurant into the clothing department and dozens of empty seats in the restaurant. Only one till working and service soooo slow you could be forgiven for falling asleep in the queue. Will not visit this restaurant again.

Lovely & useful experience at Fosseway garden centre…
I went in to the Fosseway garden centre and asked for some advice on what to do about aphids on my roses. I was given some extremely helpful tips from the super helpful staff in the outside area. The lady on the tills was very friendly & helpful and a young man called Owen helped both myself & an elderly couple to put our purchases in our cars. All in all a very nice garden centre making for a lovely trip out

Awful Cafe
Awful, Cafe has really gone down hill in recent months. It used to be the go to place for tea/cake/breakfast/lunch, now its my AVOID place. Rude staff, cold Tea, warm, cheesecake, dirty cups and filthy tables over my last few vibists

Great price reduction on lobelia bedding to brighten up my patio pots. Pleasant chat with garden centre worker agreeing about the benefits of a walk among all the plants even if you're not buying any.

Undelivered
Shop promise delivered furniture in 4-5 working days. I did order 10 working days a go and they promised to contact me via email or phone call. After 9 working days nothing happened, I called them and they promised deliver it next day but at morning they called me with bad news. Stocks not arrive to shop!!
Still they don’t know when it will deliver, to apologise they offer me coffee and cake!!
All day waiting for deliveries losing holiday for it. I did scrap my old furniture, so I’m without furniture for bank holiday weekend. Useless shop. Highly not recommend!!

Don't trust the fruit & veg stall…
Bridgemere is my local garden centre and I have been shopping there for years. I visited on 26/04 and purchased items from the fruit/veg stall. My purchse totalled £8.25 and I handed the stall holder a £20 note. As he handed my change over, he said, "I will do those for you for £8.00 then gave me £2 change. I told him I had given him £20 but he argued it was £10. I called my husband over to confirm the amount he had given me and he said it was £20 but the stall holder continued to say it was £10. He then gave me a £10 note but spoke to his colleague about me in a derogatory way. If you want anything from this stall, pay by card or shop elsewhere. I have complained to the garden centre manager and await their response.

Would not recommend the Harlow branch…
Would not recommend the Harlow branch restaurant I had omelette and chips the portion the omelette was so small think it was a kids meal my partner had fish and chips the fish was off so sent back was given a different meal which was a cheaper meal was not given the different back and I complained to the head office told by Joanna because I paid cash and was not given a receipt they would not do anything even tho they could have checked cctv to see I wasn’t given a receipt which is there fault not mine .seams they don’t care about there customers .will be calling environmental health in ref the fish and will be contacting the ceo mr A Roper as iam made to feel like iam lying over the price difference And will put his email on Soical media unless he deals with this issue disgracefully customer service it’s not much of a price difference but that not the point it more the fact it was not offered the difference back dont hold out much hope as just read all the bad reviews mostly all to do with the restaurant and rude staff as they must be happy as a company to let it continue as the reviews speak for itself

I have visited the huntingdon GC since…
I have visited the huntingdon GC twice since it was taken over by Blue Diamond and both experiences were eerily similar, staff going out of their way to ingnore you when try to ask questions, lady on customer service alternately chewing her nails or gum with her feet up shouting to a colleague though open door. Its hot and some sort of forced route appears to take you through loads of underwear to get anywhere. Sinage is horrible to non existent. Place to go to explore but a GARDEN centre umm I think not

Service in the store was excellent - after that dreadful
Service in the store was excellent - second to none, from there on after it was awful....and still awful.
Firstly, there was no notification to confirm our delivery date - so I rang to check, to find the delivery had been overlooked.
Then, when it was rescheduled, they arrived with only part of the order - and when I asked where the remainder was they said "I don't know mate, you'll need to ring the store".
Then, when I try and ring the store the phone is disconnected. Their website chat? .... permanently busy.
So, basically great at selling and taking your money - then non-existent service thereafter.
