Excellent service from Louise
This is the second time we have used Bensons for Beds in a matter of a few weeks; first for our own bed and then for our daughter’s bed. We were assisted by Louise who was fantastic, the perfect balance of helpful without feeling chased around the shop or under pressure. She was knowledgeable about the products and nothing was too much trouble for her - swapping a mattress onto the ottoman base that we had chosen to allow us to try it on the actual bed. She was so good that we sought her out in store when we returned to purchase our daughter’s bed and service was exceptional again.
A credit to the Benson for Beds team.

Great service thanks Neal from Metro Centre
I recently visited the Metro Centre Gateshead store and had an excellent experience. Neal provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. He was friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for without being pushy.
With his help, I chose the Penelope Upholstered Ottoman Bed Frame, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Neal explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free.
It’s refreshing to receive such genuine and attentive service. Neal is a real credit to the team, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store based on my experience.

I can’t fault this team, I would highly recommend
I can’t fault this team! From being super helpful with choosing the correct mattress and completing the purchase to being totally flexible when I had to delay my delivery by 6 months due to a house sale falling through. They regularly checked in with me and were aware of the situation I was in but didn’t pressuring me to arrange delivery to storage instead. To top it off super blokes delivering that were helpful and totally understanding when I had forgotten to change the delivery address from the old house that had fallen through to the new house.
Can’t recommend them enough!

I had an excellent experience with Benson for Beds from start to finish. The quality of the bed is outstanding—comfortable, sturdy, and exactly as described. The whole process, from browsing to delivery, was smooth and hassle-free.
What really stood out, though, was the delivery service. Peter and Lee were absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. They kept me informed, arrived right on time, and handled everything with great care. They made the setup process quick and easy, and their positive attitude made a big difference.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the service I received. Highly recommend Benson for Beds, especially with delivery drivers like Peter and Lee!

The best ordering and delivery service we’ve ever had.
Amazing staff at the Metro Centre branch. Very knowledgeable and process really straightforward. Delivery was 10/10, they couldn’t have been any more helpful. We have had a little issue but I’m sure that will be sorted quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I wouldn’t go anywhere else from no on. They’ve got a customer for life.

My whole experience with bensons has been positive I’ve already gave a glowing review on Louise who helped with the choosing of the beds and my delivery of the beds went smoothly both Nick and Steven being super efficient and careful and took into consideration my newly decorated walls!
