0 stars! Shit people, shit clothes

I can't give less than one star but if I could it would be 0.

Do not shop with these people.
The clothing sizes are inconsistent, they charge back every time you have to return something despite the fact you measure according to their measurements on the website.

They are refusing a full refund for us of over $80 despite us having to return their shit clothes 3 times

The materials weren't nice and the sewing at seems very poor.

I've taking the matter of the refund up with ACCC as well as doing a dispute with the bank because store credit after 3 returns is a joke, we can't use your clothes they are crap!

It's china factory made and it shows. Sizings are inconsistent and offbeat. Cheaply made items selling in Australia at made in Australia prices. Customer service is designed to benefit the brand not the customer. They'll say items have shipped when they haven't to avoid addressing order issues in a timely manner and before it has shipped. The claim is they ship fast, but in fact an order in question didn't ship for several days despite Ruby saying it had. Lies aren't appreciated when a first time customer. Deterred will take custom elsewhere.

Our products are sourced globally (we include these details in the product info tab), and while we provide detailed descriptions and sizing info, fit can vary due to different suppliers and fabric types.
I also sincerely apologise for any misleading information regarding your order's shipping status. It was never our intention to misinform you. Your order did ship from our Australian warehouse, however we were impacted by multiple public holidays during that time, which have caused the confusion/ delay. This is not the fast shipping experience we want for our customers, and to prevent future international delays, we've recently transitioned to shipping directly from California.
We truly want to help our customers, and I'm genuinely sorry you felt our service didn't reflect that. Your feedback is very important to us, and we take it seriously as we strive to get better. x

Return fee

Ordered a dress that didn’t fit. Went to return and they charge a $14 return fee. Ridiculous. Would never order from them. Go somewhere else with a better return policy which is pretty much anyone else.

DON’T BUY NOT WORTH IT

I bought a dress for $91 didn’t love it and felt like it wasn’t worth the price so I’m returning it. There’s a $14 return fee and I’m only getting $67 back. Actually ridiculous.

5 star customer service

Had an issue with my order and reached out via online chat, within minutes Ruby had rectified everything and organised a replacement to be shipped and will arrive in time for my event. She was so helpful and most definitely will be a return customer!!

Dresses are great! UPS - not so much

Both my dresses are beautiful and fit perfect! Love them. BUT! UPS bill is way too high. I got charged not only import fees, duties and taxes but also Provincial tax $9 (because the parcel arrived in BC) and UPS customs brokerage fee of $44 with the bill totaling at $87, which is a cost of another dress. Unless they fix they shipping, I would not recommend ordering from Canada.

Great service/communication, sincere, reliable, beautiful dresses

Nothing but compliments for Beginning Boutique. We searched and found some beautiful dresses for my daughter. Their ordering process was very friendly and clear. We had to return 1 of the dresses and they made that so easy and replied to questions we had. So altogether, not only beautiful dresses, but also super friendly ordering process, return process and great customer service! Thank you!!

Bad Customer Service

They would not let me return an item I cancelled before shipment and get my money back but they will let you return the item if you received it for money back… insane

Do not order from the store

Do not order from the store! My package was lost in transit for over a month, and they still will not give me a refund! If I could get zero stars, I would! Awful customer service!

Received the incorrect dress twice

Received the incorrect dress twice. Returned it after the first time and had to pay the ridiculous ten dollar return free for their own mistake; then received the wrong dress yet again in the mail. Don't order from here if you want to receive what you ordered.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service. I purchased a sweater as a gift and the first time she wore it, it unraveled at the neckline making it unwearable. The sweater quality was very poor. They requested a picture which I sent and they offered 25% refund or 50% gift card. I said that was not acceptable so they bumped it to 50% refund and 80% gift card. Why would I want a gift card considering the poor quality of their products. They should've just refunded the money. Won't do business with them again.

my order came within 4 business days, being shipped out almost immediately without express shipping. along with this the dress i ordered is in amazing quality and looks stunning. the dress came in a pretty beginning boutique tote bag i will definitely be using. very good experience

10/10!!!

I have purchased many times before but I recently purchased a beautiful top and unfortunately the top did not match what was shown in the photo online due to a sewing issue. However, the quality of the fabric and all else was great! I reached out and immediately got a response, the ladies I spoke with were so kind and quick about the situation. I was able to exchange the faulty top for a new one. The new top was sent out the same day I received the faulty top. Customer service skills are a 10/10. You guys are amazing!

Scam

Scam. Fabric is not what is mentioned. On the site it said to cotton and polyester. They also do not respond to emails. And from today they have updated their webpage but forgot that consumers can just go to a snapshot time of their webpage.

I made an order & almost immediately…

I made an order & almost immediately was emailed as a potential security risk & had to provide evidence from my bank. I was sceptical & blacked out the account details. My order was then confirmed & shipped the same day. I received the order the very next morning. Customer Service was extremely helpful & the service was extremely prompt. I have ordered 4 items now, only 1 of them I wasnt extremely happy with the quality & returned that. The rest I am very pleased with.

Absolute nightmare company

I live in Ontario Canada. I ordered a dress for my daughter on October 21. Somewhere within the shipping process my dress never made it to Ontario Canada and instead was sent back to Australia on October 29. I contacted the company and at first kept telling me my dress was in Canada and to file an investigation. I tried but becasue it involves an international tracking number I am unable to but Canada post suggested that the company can. Well, Beginning Boutique was extremely unwilling and instead repeatedly told me to wait to see if the dress would come. As of today the company has blocked my email address. I am out over $120.00. I have proof of all their emails to back up what I am saying. This is not a way to do business. The reviews on their website must be fake. I wrote a bad review and they won't post it.
