Service is usually excellent but they seem overwhelmed by Christmas demand this year. Had no order confirmation just an email telling me there were items still in my basket. When I checked was told there's a problem with the email system. Then there were two items out of stock that I was able to order. Then I was sent this survey before I received dispatch confirmation. Beer ordered on Sunday not dispatched yet and it's Thursday night.

Easy web site to get around, great selection of beers.
Delivery normally very quick.

What a shambles. I am not sure who is at fault but my first order was damaged in transit and returned to sender. Now the replacement is also being returned (once again damaged). Both times neither the delivery company or Beers of Europe contacted me I had to find out myself what had happened.

Paid extra for 1 day delivery it's now 5 days since I made my order and still without product.

Beers of Europe didn't really seem to care now stuck trying to find the same beers from a decent retailer with no idea when I'll get my refund what a waste of time.

To add insult to injury I keep getting emails asking me to review the beers I have not received.

If I were simply to award a rating for the choice and quality of the beers available, then it would be hands-down 5 stars.
I have used Beers of Europe for a couple of years, mainly to treat my brother for birthdays and Christmas and to treat myself, with cases of mixed single bottles, some pretty extraordinary! The beer had always lived up to and beyond our expectations.
However, delivery is very hit and miss - 2 orders for next day delivery (with the extra fee paid) failed. 2 days off wasted, waiting for nothing. The first (birthday present for my brother) meant an hour and a half's drive (there and back) to physically recover the case up from a DHL depot. The second (today), an apology email from the carrier (Nationwide Parcel Services) saying they were unable to deliver today 3 hours after I had rung BOE to get an ETA for delivery.
It's a great shame, but I no longer trust this vendor to deliver when stated. Especially infuriating when (for both of those particular deliveries) I've paid the next day delivery fee and booked them for a day off work. So afa as delivery is concerned, 2 stars and only because 3 of the last 5 orders I made actually turned up.

Placed order for the first time and got no confirmation. opened an account and when checking order found no trace but i had paid. Had to ring bank and then email to find out what was going on

I am a regular buyer from BofE (perhaps a little too regular 😋), as they seem to be the sole UK stockists of my favourite German red wine (Dornfelder lieblich).

As always both the service and delivery were excellent, in fact they contacted me proactively as they were ordering some from Germany and asked if I wanted any.

Really good choice of beers and easy to use website. Just wish they'd change to a better courier as my last 4 orders have been delayed due to being damaged in transit.

I had been searching for weeks for an obscure South American product, and eventually found it only 2 days before I needed it. Less than 36hrs later, I had the bottle in my hands. I am immensely impressed by the variety that this website offers and by the delivery and customer service.

My first time ordering from them. Good concept and looks like many happy customers. Their customer service needs a bit of polishing though. Only six out of 30 beers delivered which I needed for the weekend. The lady on the phone needs a better response than I will email the shipper bit be ware that they are slow to respond.

They need to fix the problem while dealing with the shipping issue in the background. Poor in my book. At the very least they need to insist on better visibility from their shipper. Easy to do these days.

Fantastic people to deal with. Happy, polite really friendly. I was ordering some alcohol free stouts on line and accidentally added some alcoholic ones but Carol sorted it in one phone call. They also have a fabulous choice of all beers. Great place to deal with.

Very quick to correct a dispatch address error I'd made.

Ordered at 2pm on 10/4, box delivered by 10am next day. That is 5 star service.

Ordering was easy and delivery was quick but I was not impressed by my favourite beers having a very short date on them. April 25, delivered mid March 25. I love Augustiner Helles and I am glad I have tasted this perfect beer (for me) elsewhere because the six I got from Beers of Europe did not taste fresh. The email on the web site wasn’t working either or I would have let them know. This was my first order and will be my last, shame because they are cheaper and do have a large selection.

BOE is truly one of the best websites if not the best for European beers. I have ordered a couple of times with them now and the German beers I purchased have all been exceptional.

Always packaged well in a strong reinforced cardboard box and the bottles are clean and fresh looking with excellent best before dates.

Prices are very affordable too and I can treat myself to a box of beers without feeling guilty about the cost.

I placed an order with Beers of Europe via Amazon with clear instructions not to leave the order outside. They delivered my order using DPD. The courier claimed the order was delivered to me in person but provided no signature (only a typed name that was my middle name) and a photo of the parcel outside my front door. I arrived home 8 minutes later to find the box had been carefully cut open and all contents stolen. Despite clear evidence that the parcel was not delivered and the items had been stolen, Beers of Europe was rude and unhelpful and took no accountability despite contacting them several times. I eventually obtained a refund via Amazon after multiple attempts. I would not recommend this customer-unfriendly, unprofessional company and will not use them again.

Excellent customer service

Great selection of beers (mainly German & Belgian) but my only problem is they use DHL to deliver who are awful, next day delivery can be five days and then no idea of when they are actually being delivered.
