I had a fantastic experience at Balfe’s. I was actually planning to buy a different bike from another shop, but on my way home I decided to stop by Balfe’s just to browse some accessories. I was warmly welcomed by Hector, who was incredibly helpful and patient in answering all my questions.

Even though it was close to closing time, he took the time to understand what I was looking for, made thoughtful recommendations, and showed me a bike on screen. I mentioned that I’d need to see it in person — and to my surprise, he remembered there was one downstairs. The moment I saw it, I knew it was the one. I ended up buying the bike on the spot, along with all the accessories he suggested, and he’s been brilliant with support ever since.

Who needs ChatGPT when you’ve got Hector? 😄 Thanks again for the outstanding service!

Good and considered advice, great work and friendly service. The only reason it does not get 5 stars was that some of the work I asked to be done got forgotten, but that may well have been miscommunication

The only thing that I didn’t like was the overall price - it was really expensive compared to other bike shop locations in London. Why does the postal code have to determine price? It should not. This was really the first time I saw a decline in service since going to that location, perhaps they were understaffed but I could tell something was off. I used the location out of convenience and location, but realised too late that the postal code will always raise the price, and not necessarily the quality.

Good service. Enjoyed the ride after the fix up. Could have taken a little more care to clean the bike a bit and little things like fixing up handlebar tape that had been ripped with a little tape - although this was done when I asked about it. But generally thankful for the service

I waited a month for click & collect and still one item didn't arrive (from the other shop). It's been more 6 days since I requested refund. I send email to support in a meantime. Allegedly they respond on 48h. This shop looks like a bunch of crooks. Go shopping elsewhere.

Picked my bike after service and they did a good job and told me what the issues were that I had missed to mention when I dropped my bike. I still had a minor issue which Jaoa was happy to investigate and rectify. Tony is also good and very friendly. The service team is dedicated and are keen to help out which is good for customers.

Bought my bike a year ago and I was happy with this store from my first visit. They offered me option to test ride bikes without any charge(yes!). The store also offers option to order bikes(more than 1) for you to try for a 25% deposit which I thought was good and worth it if you're after a good low to high range bike(for all level of cyclists serious or recreational). They have great choice of bikes in store and online. Offer periodic discounts on bikes and all accessories.

Finally, customer service is good at this store, sometimes a bit too good as they make sure you are attended to before moving to next customer. This can mean some waiting time on a busy day but it's never too long.

sold me tyres on the bike not that size had to ride three times

It was a nice bike and have a great deal also Im enjoying the comfortableness of the Scott Aspect 950 Medium size with a 29er tyres.
