From my initial contact with Jodie Kay the Customer Care Lead, to the final day of work to lay a new Main water supply to my home, and re-connect the shared supply to neighbours, Auger were excellent in every way. I have a difficult situation as a full-time Carer for my husband and Auger took this into account at every stage of the process. Decisions were made with me and with my situation in mind at all times. The Lead Water Engineer Simon is without doubt both exceptionally skilled and personable, making decisions in my best interests and overcoming technical problems with the experience and care gained over many years. Simon is the best possible ambassador for Auger, and he and his team of Aidan and Jamie worked so well together on each day of the job. When a difficulty arose I was informed of it, but then it was managed quickly and with great expertise and care without involving me again. My courtyard and adjoining lane were excavated in a tidy manner and all excavations placed in rubber buckets to be re-used when backfilling the holes. I could not have wished for a more courteous, pleasant, and extraordinarily talented team. Water problems in one's garden can be extremely stressful, but with Simon to manage the whole project aided by Jodie to check on my well-being I felt cared for from start to finish. Simon took the strain from me and liaised with neighbours and advised on SWW policy and practice as he once worked for them and knew how things should be done. This is more than 'above and beyond', it is stratospheric and I am so very grateful to Auger to have been allocated such talent to solve my water problem. Thank you all so very much.

The people who came to investigate and repair the drains were very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and did a brilliant job.

Auger were clear, efficient and professional from start to finish. We had a freshwater pipe leak coming through the foundations of our house and spilling into the drain. The team at Auger were really quick at identifying the source of the leak and then got it fixed in a super-quick amount of time.

Before engaging with Auger, we had another company come to assess the leak. Reflecting on both companies, Auger were by far the most professional, cost-effective and reassuring. Great service! Thanks Paddy and Billy + team Auger.

We went through our insurance who instructed Auger to do the drain repairs. The survey man and the repair man were both very approachable, knowledgeable and happy to explain the process. The site was left clean and tidy. All work is covered by a 10 year Warranty.

Professionalism shone throughout our dealings with this company relating to an insurance claim.
The people with whom I dealt both via phone calls and on site were interested in giving the best possible service rather than just 'doing a job'.
Reminds me of the days when people actually cared about their customer's experience as opposed to being 'put on hold'. Well done, Auger

The initial visit for assessment and camera investigation was carried out promptly, the main works taking half a day completed smoothly and all areas left clean and tidy. Thank you.

Auger were assigned to repair a leak on the mains feed from the main stop valve .was advised that they would repair the damaged lead pipe or I could go for a complete replacement at additional cost,I excepted the quote for full replacement,they surveyed site and commenced two later,they hit a snag on one part of the drive and advised that they were unable to mole it and would have to manually trench the whole drive,waited two days for a reply.and was told that it was not possible to Finnish works and would be happy to just repair it .I have five holes dug in drive with a temporary mains feed, they advertise them selfs as the leading company for underground works.offered me a refund of my money so I could appoint another company to complete works.very unhappy customer.i believe as they quoted me for two days work and the works have overrun they would be out of pocket

Auger was sent by First Direct to deal with our blocked rain drain. The guy was very professional and talked us through why it had happened and how it was going to be dealt with. Auger came back to make the repair which was not easy but he showed us the issue. After the repair he cleaned the area and we also had a copy of the initial report and a 10 year warranty.

Zero Stars. Sketchy company. Their engineers say one thing and the report says something else. Not to mention the report from the job is not shared unless you request it. Shifty and sketchy. Also took them nearly a month to fix my broken pipe. It was 30 minutes job! They also offered to do it privately (as I claimed through my insurance) and I was told it would have been much quicker-greedy lot! Avoid.

Their engineers were 5 stars however their office team as a huge lack of honesty.
Was told to install a stop tap otherwise engineer would not be able to check if leak was from mains to stop tap or after stop tap. Hired an plumber and claimed back value from insurance… insurance now does not pay because Auger admin team says that never requested the stop tap to be installed… what upsets me is not £300 but the lack of honesty from company, if Auger asks you to do something please ask them to request in write and not by phone as they cannot be trusted

All who we dealt with were very professional and friendly.
Communication was consistent through a very difficult stressful time.
You got us home quicker than we expected so thank you so much.

We had two engineers attend on seperate occasions, Simon first then Paddy. Both were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The work was very tidy and carried out to the highest standard. They both made sure I understood everything that they were doing and the greatest care was taken in carrying out the works. The driveway was put back in to an even better state due to the high quality of their Paddy's work. If you want peace of mind, go with Auger.

The whole experience with Auger was a disaster. They were appointed by the insurer to fix a leak and it took them 8 months to finish the job! They've done many wrong decisions due to bad management and lack of adequate tooling. Ultimately, they seem to be more focused on profiting from the problem than actually fixing it.

My dealings with Auger have shown me an exceptional team of people entirely focused on customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use their services again and would thoroughly recommend them to all.

They responded to the claim within 2 hours. when they arrived they were very professional and identified the problem (Anglian Water were not able to despite it being an issue with Anglian Water). They told us what the problem was and tidied up afterwards. Our driveway was only 6 months old and despite having to dig it up when they left you wouldn't have known it had been dug up.

The communication from Auger was excellent. They kept us informed on progress by phone, text and email. A detailed report required to repair our sewer pipe was created by them in less than 2 days and a repair date arranged - although when they had a late minute cancellation we were offered a new date 2 weeks earlier. The repair was carried out without even digging up the garden. Received a 10 year warranty for the work. Highly recommend this very efficient and professional company.

Two lads came to repair a botched drain job (done by another company). Excellent and nice people. Job was done in half a day with no fuss and great workmanship. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you to Jody and the other staff
