Great communication throughout. Professional service on arrival too.

These people were paid by my insurers around £30,000 to install a waste treatment plant that is shared between my home and my neighbours home.

Part of this system included a ridiculously noisy pump to pump soak away water up an incline so it could drain out on the way back down. This design was chosen instead of fixing and using the existing soak away on our neighbours property (who unreasonably said they didn't want their garden dug up).

We have to pay for this pumps electricity to facilitate the system. I complained about their installers poor handover, and the noisy pump, at the time of install, but they fobbed me off and didn't take it on board. I was suffering with cancer at the time (which they knew) so was too sick to fight with them.

The waste treatment plant has not even been installed for four years and the noisy pump has suddenly become far noisier, with a very loud buzzing sound, and it sounds rather unwell. So I called Auger to try and get it sorted out, and was promptly told that the system is out of warranty now!

So, please beware, before trusting these people, there installers are shoddy, and the systems they install are not fit for purpose and are likely to only last just beyond the measly three year warranty period. An allegedly heavy duty pump that only lasts for just over three years is simply not good enough, and is clearly not up to the job it was intended for! Even though they are full of friendly patter, and talk the talk, personally, I would in future choose any other installer!

We unfortunately had a water leak on our driveway.Auger was appointed by my insurance company to carry out the repair. They were very professional, kept me updated all the time and the engineer who carried out the repair was excellent. I would recommend them

From the point of initial contact to the completion of work, Auger kept me updated on what was happening. Their agents, once on my property, explained what they were going to do, prior to proceeding and once the issue was identified, provided options before completing the work.

Was referred to Auger by our insurers. First contact was very good. Surveyor was helpful and advised what was needed to replace collapsed sewer at the home of very elderly disabled couple. When they arrived to do the job they were somehow surprised that the collapsed sewer they were going to fix, was backed up. They then claimed blockage was in neighbour's property and wanted to charge extra time clear it. When we pointed out their original survey identified blockage was on our property, hence why being there to fix it, their head office instructed the single engineer they sent to leave site. This was despite despite the sewer being full, leaving the elderly couple without toilet facilities. We luckily arranged for the water board to come and clear the blockage, no thanks to Auger. Gave the two stars only because when they eventually returned, they did a decent job. oh and despite complaining, the still say they did nothing wrong. Very poor customer service.

I'd recommend using someone else.

Wouldn't use the again and disappointed that Direct line recommended them.

The young man who carried out the survey was a credit to the Company. He did a fine job in difficult circumstances and was friendly throughout. Others might have lost patience.

They cleared the blockage and identified a likely root cause which was fixed.

It was at my 90 year old father's house and they treated him with respect and cleaned up afterwards.

Any discussions on work and payments were held only with me, as requested.

Would be happy to use them again at my house if needed and to recommend them.

We had a complex drain problem in an old, stone-built house where the drains weren't mapped. Auger were tasked by our insurance company. Very professional communications to arrange work. Operatives were polite, professional, and well-equipped. When a further problem arose they responded quickly and fixed it. They also cleaned up the work site very well.

From the first phone call to the end of the job, we were happy with Auger. Reece did our work, trustworthy, polite, friendly, hard working. A great job done in good time and done with great care and attention. Lots of information by phone, always a very pleasant person on the other end. Would definitely use this company again.

With an’invisible’ water leak that Dwr Cwmru couldn’t find …Auger managed to trace and fix it. It all took a long time and two visits, but they needed the indoor area cleared to fix it. But all worked out well and the leak was found, fixed & the area returned to normal.
Now to replace everything moved out of the way! If only you had a service for that you would get more than 5 stars.😁
Their operatives were helpful and very nice and efficient. I was happy with them in the house. So much so that I requested the same people to return to do all the work.

Very satisfied with their service, both the investigation by Will and the execution by Tyi, Shan and Baiz (?). Especially given the difficulty of the job, including digging trenches in concrete, mouling, and indoors pipework.

They were hardworking, respectful with both us and our neighbours, and professional. To highlight, we appreciated: (1) the information they provided us with about the whole process, from the initial inspection to the completion of the work; (2) putting the needs of the client as a priority, doing extra hours during the weekend to fix the leak.

The only downside we could say is that Auger seems to be in high demand of service, so booking the appointments took longer than we anticipated.

All in all, the problem was fixed. Thanks!

It was a complex situation, and I must give credit to Auger in particular Tom Who took over the claim for sorting everything out it took six months, but once Tom started dealing with matters things started moving in the correct direction so I’m really grateful for him and also the engineer that came. Billy did a fantastic job and he’s an absolute credit to the company !

The fantastic and professional staff they employ, who don’t stop for a minute and get the job done really quickly even when its a really difficult site and job to sort out. Would definitely recommend them 100 per cent. Fantastic company who check in with a phone-calls to make certain everything is going to the customers satisfaction, and that they have no complaints or problems which we certainly did not. Great company and staff.

From the initial contact with the staff at the Auger office, to the completion of our replacement main water pipe, everything was handled professionally.
The office staff were always clear and polite, we were kept informed of the days, timescale and engineers due to attend our property.
The team that carried out the work were absolutely brilliant, hard working, skilful and very knowledgeable,we knew we were in the right hands. We are no longer losing and wasting countless litres of water, we will recommend Auger above all others.

Auger dealt with my claim up to the fixing a bad water leak and it was a positive experience dealing with Auger. Alex the technician is a credit to you.

Totally professional staff, dealt with the replacement of my water main service pipe via my insurance. Kept updated throughout the process, dealt with County Council, completed the work to a high standard without issue. You wouldn't even know they have been.

Very efficient and customer friendly service overall.

I had a letter from Thames Water indicating I had a leak, they sent out an operative who confirmed the same but as the flow was too small it was my problem but needed sorting in 6 weeks. Contacted my insurers NFU who said they would get their recommended investigation team to help. Within 10 minutes they had called, talked through the issue, with 48 hours the team were booked to investigate. They arrived in the timescale agreed, confirmed I did not have a leak but a faulty meter & within 3 hours of their operative visiting I had a report to submit to Thames Water, now I have to wait for them to replace the meter. I can guarantee they won't be as efficient
