Ordered tyres online and paid, confirmed with day and time only to arrive and be told tyres not in stock and not available for some time. No contact to say this until arrival, very poor communication by manager on site, was then told to contact customer service for refund if required. Diabolical from a trusted leading company, total lack of communication in all areas from ATS
Update, customer service contacted and email received with complaint number, said complaint would be dealt with within 10 working days, now over that time and no response. Seems customer service are as useless as rest of ATS at communicating
Terrible place, staff uninterested, make you feel like you are a problem. Waited 15 mins in reception, no one there but they could see me from the garage.
Took 1.5 hours to fit 2 tyres. Not particularly friendly.
Easy took book appointment, (called in at reception). Job done in good time at a reasonable cost.

We came back from holiday and found we had a slow puncture. So I went here to see if they could identify the problem - a 5-minute job. But no - they can’t “fit us in” for a couple of days. If they don’t have 5 minutes to spare in the next few days, they need to sort out their staffing levels

I have just had a foot operation and could not take my car in for the two front tyre’s replacing, he organized the car to be picked up and he also returned it after the work had been completed. The cost of the work was very reasonable and good. I would highly recommend ATS Euromaster Tadcaster 👍

Website price for my tyre is £112.99 FULLY FITTED. Went instore and was charged £130. No explanation from the cashier why balancing ect was extra, apart from “well it is a Cross Climate tyre.”
I’ve filled in the online complaint form but no reply so far.
Wish they would adhere to their advertised pricing on their website.
I would have to be extremely desperate to use ATS ever again.

Now at 45 days.
Still waiting for my refund please ATS..
So 43 days after having my wheel damaged by ATS I am still waiting to receive a promised payment for repair of the wheel. The last excuse was they put the wrong bank details into their payment system. Last Thursday I was promised again the payment would be made to me by Monday 8th April.

"Good afternoon
I have looked into this with our accounts payable department and I must apologise to you the payment bounced back to us purely due to an error on my end when submitting your details I mistyped a digit of your account number but I have now rectified this and will be submitted on Monday which is the next date for bank transfers. I have attached a free MOT voucher dated till 2026 as an apology for my mistake."
Made a call to customer services at 11:35(am) on 4th April. Was promised a call back, will update on the outcome.
From Bad to Worse..
Having been promised to be reimbursed for the wheel repair 3 weeks ago.
Today 04/04/24 I received this email.
"Good Morning Gary
Thank you for your email, what I will do is to get our complaints team to investigate this ok & see if they can get the refund for you ok."
Actually it's not OK.
Not in any way apologetic for not paying me when promised.
If I could rate this company with No Stars I would do.
ATS having admitted liability for damaging my wheel, advised I take the car for repair and they would refund my costs.
That was on the 18th March.(11 working days ago).
Surely it does not take that long to refund me?.
Just amended by review experience back to 1 star.
Had an appointment on 26th Feb 3:30pm at the Tadcaster branch of ATS. Booking was for 2 front tires and 4 wheels alignment. The stand in Depot Manager Andy booked the job in and worked progressed. I was told part way through that the alignment could not be done that day due to the alignment rig being occupied by another job(white van) that could not be moved. I agreed for Andy to re-book me into the York Branch of ATS for alignment 1pm on 28th Feb. During the fitting of the new tyres I was horrified to witness the old tyres being removed using a crowbar, I have Vossen wheels(£1,000 a piece)!!. Surprise, surprise after the work had been completed there was notable damage to the passenger side front alloy. I did take this up with Andy and made it clear that damage had been done by ATS, I had pictures and video of my car 1 hour earlier in their depot before the work commenced just to safe-guard against this type of eventuality. I was assured by Andy(Branch Manager) that he would make good the damage which I was reassured to hear and will be taking this up with him. Lo and behold when I got on the road back home some 7 miles, the car was veering off to the RHS quite severely. The onboard front tyre pressures showed 38psi(passenger side) 47psi(drivers side).
Come on ATS you should be better than this.

Now at Day 11.
I have received a message on 6th March, 9 days after my complaint.
See below.
**To summarise after 10 days of waiting, I received another message telling me to wait another 10 days**.
Is this good customer service??.
"Good afternoon,
I can confirm that your complaint has been logged and your reference number is SR************
ATS customer relations aim to respond to your complaint within 10 working days and in a case where it may take us longer, an update shall be provided to you."

11/03/24. Resolution.
I can confirm that ATS have acted positively and offered to make good the damage to my wheel.
I have been instructed to find a local wheel repair specialist and get the work done, ATS will pay on receipt of invoice.
I am very happy with the conclusion and how it has progressed. I do hope that the depot concerned can take on board the training required particularly when removing tyres from alloy rims.
ATS quick corrective action has resulted in me changing my review from a 1 star to 4 stars.
