What a dreadful company, Crawley.
After selling tyre guarantee 2000 miles ago they fail to honour it, 😞
Canceling appointments, just to repair puncture then replacement tyre gets lost ,after a week of being fobbed off I had to go and to a completely different company and pay full price.
After complaining all I got was a standard sorry letter.
Yes i did submit a formal complaint by email and you responded with the same sad sorry after taking my money for worthless tyre insurance. Crawley ATS is now closed as well as East Grinstead ATS. says alot about your company.

ATS cover plan ,complete waste of money, when I needed to use the cover plan .ATS unable to help me it at another garage costing me over £130 for new trye. ATS Crawley The reception staff were rude and unhelpful . customer services have told me there's nothing they can do to reimburse me for tyre cover or cost of new tyre. I wouldn't RECOMMENDED using them.

Booked in for 4x new Michelin tyres at Gatwick branch, wish I had read the reviews before completing my purchase as I would have run for the hills.
I’ve contacted your customer services who just said I can raise a complaint. Seems like it’s pointless as the other reviews suggest.

It’s been 2 weeks since I submitted a complaint and still no contact from ATS Complaints team. Hardly surprising!!

Julian was a great help. I purchased two Goodyear tyres for my Audi Q5. I was impressed with the care and attention when replacing my tyres.

I was let down on two MOT's appointments at their East Grinstead branch as their test equipment wasn't working.
Also two trips made to their Crawley branch for just 2 x tyres ordered up online & booked in, just one man running the huge workshop, clearly not his thought but ATS.
I've been using them for years for tyres, tracking, puntures and service works but this doesn't count for nothing these days, i need two more tyres on the vehicle but no apology when complaining online.

Tyres booked online, Julian the Manager called and advised needed to select a different tyre as could not get hold of (annoying as had researched and shopped around for the specific tyre). However helpful and polite and selected an alternative.
Michael the fitter on the day was excellent, extremely busy as by himself, but welcoming, polite, efficient and overall a great service . Thank you
Would recommend and use again

On 15/04/24, I took my car to ATS Gatwick for a full set of 4 new tyres and wheel alignment. When I collected the car, the person at the desk told me the 4 tyres were changed and balanced, but they couldn’t do the wheel alignment due to some sealed bolts in my car suspension. I understood the situation, and they offered to refund the fee for the wheel alignment.

However, there hasn’t been any confirmation of the refund to date. I’ve called several times, but no one answers the phone. Additionally, the car feels bumpy, so I’m unsure if they actually balanced the wheels. Moreover, the tyre pressure light came on the dashboard 5 minutes after leaving ATS Gatwick, indicating they may have installed the wrong valves or damaged one of the wheel pressure sensors.

The most astonishing part of all of this isn’t the fact they did a poor job; it’s their total lack of care for their customers and their safety.

I hope this review reaches their franchiser, as I don’t think such poor service should be tolerated. represent this brand.

Now I need to take my car to another garage, spend the money again (money that I’ve paid already) for a car professional to fix the mess.

If I were you, avoid this garage.

Check your alloys straight after the tyres have been replaced!!
After having my tyres replaced by the Crawley branch I noticed one of the alloys was damaged around the whole circumference after returning from holiday (car was picked up in the dark) then getting the run around by “customer services” it took so long that the complaint was rejected by an area manager with the completely wrong info that it was 2 months after! yet the original complaint was made after returning from holiday 14 days after. Total disappointment… so take heed… check those alloys straight after!!! Will never use them again!

I have noticed others have had the same issue with the Crawley branch and that we have all had the same brush off and reply. Obviously couldn’t care less

Good guidance, helpful, friendly and quick.

Paid for 4 tyres to be fitted and a front wheel alignment. They damaged an alloy, told me to get it repaired myself and bring them the invoice to refund. I did this and have heard nothing since. For the wheel alignment, I was told "bring it back and we'll do it". It should have been done the first time and if cars are damaged while in their hands, I of course will not be bringing it back.
Still waiting on both refunds or even just a simple acknowledgement that they're being processed. Will never be returning and will ensure others avoid as well. Terrible service.

EDIT: The alloy repair and alignment have now been refunded.

I left my car the staff were very polite and helpful and when I came back it was done and drives like a dream

All the guys there are pleasant. I was advised about the best tyres and I had the tracking done as well.

Very disappointing experience. I had tyres replaced having purchased via blackcircles. I was asked if I wanted my tracking checked and although there were no problems with the car I thought it might be worth while to check. The person who tried to do it clearly did not know what they were doing as they said they could not do the tracking having tried to do so for several minutes. He did not charge me as he said that there was a problem he could not solve.

The car drove terribly afterwards and I was concerned about its safety. I got it checked by an independent garage who noted that the tracking was so far out and asymmetric that it had caused significant asymmetric wear on the tyres within a hundred miles of driving. They pointed out that adjusting the tracking was easy on my car and could not understand why ATS had any issues - the only conclusion they could make was that the ATS employee did not know what he was doing.

I made a formal complaint and also asked for the cost of my tyres to be refunded but have received only one non committal response and then no further responses despite clearly stating that the issue is one of safety and training of their own employees. More customers could end up in similar situations.

Sometimes employees can get things wrong and create a problem. The issue here is a complete lack of responsibility for this and a failure to address it. There is also a safety issue that seems to be unacknowledged entirely.

I left a similar review on Google and got a response from ATS saying that they would be in touch. I also emailed them again twice more but to no avail. I would have hoped that if they were keen enough to respond on a website that many people viewed they might also get in touch with me. How wrong.

I always like to think that you rate a service based on how they respond when things don't go well. ATS have shown that they are not keen to address deficiencies in their service or the faults of their employees. I am £300 out of pocket but have also learned a lot about the priorities ATS have.

ATS at Crawley Manor Royal booked for a MOT and minor service arrived on time to be told we can do the MOT as the guy who does this is not in today but we can do the service i declined this and asked for a refund to be told this will take 3/4 days, Went back today 5 days later as there's been no refund to be told it now takes 3/5 days service from them is shambolic they don't care could not even be bothered to call before to say sorry we cant do the mot will never use or recommend again
