We dealt with Askews regarding the sale of a flat in Leamington. We found them excellent to deal with. They provided regular feedback and were very proactive and supportive throughout. Chanel Brown was especially helpful.

I have dealt with Christos on a number of occasions and he has always been quick to deal with matters and great in his communication. I hope to keep completing matters with him into the future!

I previously used Askews for the sale of my father’s house and Pardeep was excellent,I took the opportunity to use them again for me and my wife’s Wills,Georgina Deakin was extremely helpful and explained everything thoroughly.I would definitely recommend Georgina to carry out a will.

After he parted company with his original criminal solicitor (who was a nightmare), my son appointed Mohammed Farooq. He guided us through the extremely difficult process with diligence and professionalism. The end result was that my son was found NOT GUILTY of the false accusation made against him. I would recommend Mohammed to anyone who needs help to navigate the country's criminal system which we discovered to be chaotic.

I approached Askews to clarify a Land Registry issue that was directly connected to their previous involvement in a matter relating to my property. Despite not being their client, the issue arose from their own actions, so I expected at least a basic level of clarity and professionalism.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Communication was inconsistent, my queries were dismissed, and I was repeatedly told that the firm had “no obligation” to respond, even though the matter directly affected my home. Attempts to follow their complaints procedure were impossible — the link on their website did not work, and no one was able to provide the correct contact details.

The situation was serious enough that I have felt compelled to raise my concerns with the Solicitors Regulation Authority for review. I do not make such complaints lightly, but I believe the way my enquiry was handled fell significantly short of the standards I expected from a regulated law firm.

This experience has left me with very little confidence in their approach to customer care, transparency, or accountability. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using the firm to be aware of how they handle enquiries and concerns, especially from individuals who may be affected by their work.

Incredibly professional and diligent legal advice . Went above and beyond to support my family with the defence for our criminal case . Sarah McCormack was supportive and so knowledgeable that we felt confident we had everything we needed heading into court and for the result we had. The barristers they instructed were exactly the right fit for our case I would highly recommend this firm and in the nicest way possible hope we don’t have to use them again

Askews were brilliant when handling my divorce - I gave them 5 stars. But they were useless when it came to conveyancing... slow to act and unresponsive to emails.
I now need a conveyancing solicitor again... I will be looking elsewhere.

I was made redundant and was given a settlement agreement. I needed a solicitor and reached out to Askews. I was contacted by Sumera and she went through the details with me. Superb 5* service and settlement agreement was sorted swiftly. Even got more that I was expecting.

Have been trying to get them to prepare a lease renewal on a commercial property since October 2023.
Now on second member of staff who would also seem to have left without completing this
No answer to email today to Customer Relations. Dreadful service. Would not recommend

This is the second time I have used Askews solicitors and both occasions their quality of service was excellent.

Really dissatisfying service. I urge anyone local to Teesside to find another solicitor.

we were so disappointed with the poor communication, but most of all the service being drawn out for almost two years.

In doing so, who knows how many more hours they charged for? Time and money that could have been saved if our family had went to another solicitor to sort out such a personal issue.

I called this company as I wasn't happy with my existing solicitor. The initial conversation was helpful and they said someone would call me back. About an hour later Bally Mawi called me. She was kind and I felt like she cared, she described herself as ' just a minion' and explained she was not a solicitor. This lady provided me with excellent advice and is clearly knowledgeable of family law and the court process . I felt like I was talking to a friend. Thank you Bally for talking to me at length. You are amazing and I will follow your advice.

I had these for my child case as he was taken at birth and I found them slow to respond and rather rude at times or don't answer questions I delt with Coventry branch and we won got child back but I found partner solicitor alot better knew there stuff more . Also once case was complete never heard anything back whats so ever we on 2nd week so wouldn't recommend them as feel they not got time for the person themselves . That's why scored a 2 as if I have another case I not use these again . I only used them because Guardian recommended them as I had noone as case happened with in hr of him born .

It is difficult choosing a solicitor with all the choice out there - I chose Lianne Payne at Askews Legal because of the positive reviews and valued recommendations and I was not disappointed. Lianne was brilliant, understanding and switched on. She was very thorough, fair and transparent in fighting my case, saving my reputation and establishing justice for which I will always be grateful. Everything was dealt with quickly and professionally but with a personal touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Askews Legal again - very glad I picked them.
