I rarely write reviews, but felt inclined to do so, as I am thrilled with my new business banking experience. Allica bank fits my banking needs like a glove, allowing multiple accounts, which is a must for me. What really puts the icing on the cake is the FANTASTIC customer service. Real people who are knowledgeable about their product. We've just moved to Allica Bank and the process couldn't have been more straightforward. We moved some money into the savings account just before the month end and were delighted to earn £20 interest on it in just 4 days! We're very much looking forward to the end of our first full month with them! Ben Homans is our 'Allica Man' and has been super supportive, visiting to talk through the requirements and suitability of Allica for us and then again to take us through the switching process. Very reassuring, very easy. After all these years of paying out for the privilege of Business Banking, it's really pleasing to be finally getting something back!

Great to have someone I can email or phone if I need help, and the banking app is so easy to use.

First and foremost, if you have over £50K in your business account then transfer it to Allica, it's a no brainer! It's nice and easy to set up, you can do a partial switch so you can still keep your existing business account and best of all, so long as you meet all criteria, you can earn up to 4.08% interest on the money in your business savings.

As an accountant I regularly get asked by clients which bank to use. My experience with Allica, and with my relationship manager make that an easy question, it's Allica every time. The level of customer service and care is unlike any other bank, and if you have cash on deposit they pay a great rate of interest.

Allica Bank has been absolutely exceptional since we joined. The human to human service they provide is something that's rarely seen these days, and has made a real difference to our business.

The biggest benefit for us has been how straightforward and efficient the asset finance process has been. A special thank you to Shannon and Peter, who have consistently gone above and beyond to support us whenever needed.

Allica went above and beyond to help with our hire purchase of two new machines we needed. Alex (Central Relationship Manager) was very attentive and kept us informed at every process. Finance went through very quickly and we were up and running again without any delay.

Suddenly started charging a "low balance fee" for those who have an average balance of less than £10.000 in the account.

Opened an account when they had 4.2% interest and it’s gone down and down now paying 2.3%. They just use the interest and the card cashback to draw people in. Lucky enough I didn’t fall for the payment cards and went with Monzo who have been great.

I also took out a 500k loan with Allica and have been paying back lumps. It’s like trying to draw blood from a stone dealing with their customer service when I’m paying large overpayments!

Just poor service. I expect customer service to reply within 24 hours but honestly the replies are like 7-10 days apart.

Please Allica sort out your customer service afcustomer.services as it’s shocking!

Ben Homans was a pleasure to deal with from the get go. Nothing was every too much trouble and he was always on hand to answer any questions i had still to this day. All round great experience.
