great brand with great service
I like this brand and the online service is great. I recently just ordered a product and it was a gift for someone. The delivery was super fast. I didn't expect this because I always thought delivery from official website takes ages to deliver.
My friend was super happy when she received it and she loves the gift set. so I'm happy too.
Terrible customer service
I bought a couple of expensive and overhyped products from Aesop in Coal Drops Yard in London. I always liked the brand before, but I won’t be buying from them anymore. The sales assistant was standoffish and snooty. Looked straight through me as if he knew I won’t be buying the whole store and he didn’t have to make the effort with me. Everyone around me was receiving samples, but not me, even though I signed up for their newsletter on the spot. That was a very strange shopping experience and not one I would recommend to anyone.

Have been in to the Westfield London Aesop location several times with my partner who uses their products and the staff have always been very welcoming.
I returned recently alone to purchase a gift. The sales assistant remembered me from our previous visit and could remember exactly what we were looking at. She was a great help and I was able to make a quick purchase there and then.

Terrible service in Chatswood Shop
Terrible service, I came in the shop on 1st Nov( Thursday night) 7:30pm. Three sales people were sitting and got nothing to do. Once we came in, the asian young sales lady looked very unhappy and impatient.She didnot smile whole night and she upset that I did not buy the product she recommended. I paid 130 dollars for other products but she even didn't give me an receipt. She looks like she hates the job and she hates customer. I would highly recommend to shop in Townhall westfield Aesop shop. They have much better service and more polite with professional knowledge as well. I swear I won't come in chatswood aesop shop again to destroy my night

Aesop Classic Shampoo Order
I ordered an Aesop Classic Shampoo on the website, this was the first time I had ordered from Aesop directly, I thought the £5 postage was a little steep (but super quick shipping) - hence the four stars, as when you're paying £17 for Shampoo, and then £5 postage on top, it makes you wonder whether you're better off getting a few more things to make it worth the shipping. DPD delivered the item OK, albeit a day late, it was well packaged,and the nice touch inside the box was a hand written note thanking me for my order, I had a few samples which I will look forward to trying, again unexpected but nice, and I will look forward to finally trying The Shampoo, which I have found almost impossible to get.

Worst service I have ever experienced
Aesop is the shabbiest business I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing from.
I ordered a birthday present from their website however there was no expedited shipping or gift wrap option. Just a gift message could be added but it is unclear whether they will include price on the invoice which I would much rather they didn't - but who knows with Aesop!
I went ahead and ordered, then found out from the FAQ that you could get gift wrap but you have to message them to request it.
I messaged them and got no response. They also have not dispatched my order several days later and today is the person's birthday.
I messaged them on Twitter but again received no response.
Thank you Aesop for disappointing my grandma on her birthday, she received no gift from me because of your total incompetence.
Aesop is a luxury skincare brand that has worse service than a budget supermarket!
Worst checkout ever
This is maybe the worst checkout process i ever experienced - seriously in 2016 you dont spend more than 15 minuttes checking out. You will never see me again.
A better alternative to ManKind (=ManunKind)
I turned to Aesop.com to purchase the item which Mankind universally screwed up for me - still an on-going argument which is being handled by VISA Cardholder Services.
Whereas Mankind's online experience was limited, lacked a review page before purchase and had very dated looking emails messages with minimal information, the AESOP experience was snappy, complete and featured emails with complete information which didn't ask you to log back into the website (ManunKind)
Item was delivered very quickly within France
