Absolute superb products & customer service

Absolute superb products & customer service. I have always been a fan of Aesop ‘human’ products, and after trying many shampoos for my dog that’s didn’t irritate his skin plus smelt amazing, Aesop’s Animal Shampoo is AMAZING & a little goes a long way. I recently experienced an issue with the packaging of my purchase & within 2hrs of contacting Aesop, Claire had fully resolved the issue, more so than expected. I couldn’t be more impressed.

Absolutely brilliant, dropped a note just to say shampoo had leaked in postage didn't expect anything, they resent the order without even asking anymore.

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service. We ordered a product, tried it. It didn't suit and Aesop not only exchanged it but went to the trouble of giving us detailed information on alternatives for different skin types. Products are also amazing.

Aesop islington go to space n k instead

I living in Islington and I shop in Aesop regularly, I went there this morning the were no ques outside, I knew exactly what i wanted to buy, the store manager would not serve me, not only that he was very rude to me and told me to go away and I go via the website click and collect, I was shocked, that someone could be that rude during these times when shops are usually glad of the business. I will never go back there again, I walked to space n k they took my order through the door and phone , I spent £300 with them instead of Aersop. Terrible manager on Christmas Eve at 10am whoever he was, he should be replaced . Its not PPE equipment its hand wash and expensive at that. C

Dårlig og uforskammet service

Jeg kom ind i butikken og vidste hvad jeg skulle have på forhånd.
Ksawaneh ekspeditricen som jeg kort forinden havde set gøre rent i butikken, mødte mig med ordene: “ Du må ikke røre noget pga. Covid 19”
Hun var i gang med en anden kunde.
Ok jeg ventede. Da det blev min tur jeg skulle have nok den dyreste håndsprit jeg nogensinde har købt som gave og håndcreme som jeg oftere har købt.
Da jeg bad om to af Aesops gaveposer og prøver til begge gaver.
Det kunne jeg ikke få og da jeg skulle betale skulle hun have mit navn og postnummer, hun vidste ikke hvorfor da jeg spurgte - hun sagde at det havde hun fået besked på.
Jeg havde bedt om prøver til mine gaver, hun begrundede senere at de skulle have mine data hvis de skulle give prøver!!!
Jeg har meget ofte købt cremer og olier fra Aesop i Magasin men har aldrig fået den besked før.
Det endte med at der kom en mand ud som understøttede den før
Nævnte kvinde I IKKE at give mig en gave pose til hver af købene!!
Og jeg fik kun en prøve til hver af mine julegaver! Jeg betalte 980 kroner for håndcreme og sprit og kunne ikke engang få en pose til hver gave.., Magen til fedtet adfærd skal man lede længe efter. Vi skal aldrig mere købe noget i den butik!
Det kan jeg ikke anbefale.
Jeg kunne heller ikke få en kassebon og regningen som blev lavet - på min anmodning stod der ingen priser på så regningen kan derfor ikke bruges ved ombytning.
Samtidigt var stemningen ubehagelig og uforskammet da jeg ikke mener at de skal have mine data blot fordi de var heldige at få mig som kunde!

Overwhelming clinginess & desperation selling

We went into the Richmond store today and immediately felt pounced upon by 2 over eager staff members. We asked politely if we could just browse, but it was the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever experienced in a shop, being followed even after asking for some space, as if we were being watched liked hawks or shoplifters!

I was having a private conversation with my mother about what Aesop products I use at home, as she wanted similar ones to me. But instead both assistants who were clearly standing so close to us and would not leave us alone, interrupted our conversation and immediately started trying to interfere. I wanted to have a mother / daughter moment together, by talking and sharing some thoughts with her about what she might like and would have consulted the staff if we needed the help.

Instead, these 2 shop assistants made us feel like we were being cornered and clearly could not read our signals that we did not want help.

I understand that there must be a company ethos about being helpful...but this was just intimidating and rude.

My mother wanted to take her time and absorb this new shop/brand. But both women were literally standing right next to us and made us feel like we couldn’t breathe.

My mother has never seen or smelt the full range of products before. So we asked if we could smell/test them. One of the shop assistants said we could go to the central sink and wash our hands with the products, to determine what ones my mother liked by smelling them and washing our hands with them. Immediately the other shop assistant approached us and abruptly told us off for getting too close to the products or remove our face masks to smell our hands. Completely confusing and contradictory information! The pressure was getting ridiculous.

At that point my mother felt so stressed she wanted to leave the shop. I too wanted to get out fast...the whole shopping experience was very unpleasant. I convinced my mother to just buy what we came for, but even that process was stressful. All the products lined up, both assistants putting them through the till, but mixing up my stuff with my mother’s purchases. Such a mess!

We would have bought much more if we had been given the time to ourselves to study the products, but instead walked out saying we would never go back there again and would consider going elsewhere for alternative products after our experience today.

This has really put a bad taste in our mouths and has put us off the brand with their overwhelming clinginess and desperation selling.

Great service at Aesop's Strand Arcade store…

I dropped into Aesop's Strand Arcade store last week just to buy a light body moisturiser. The attendant, Hanae, was knowledgeable about the options and I took the Rind Concentrate Body Balm. Best of all, I left with samples of Violet Leaf Hair Balm that Hanae recommended for my rather fine hair. It's perfect. Will definitely return for both products and great service. That extra care and attention makes a difference.

Awesome products and customer service

I had absolutely pleasant experiences shopping here both online and in physical location (Aesop Newbury). The physical store is small but very cozy and is designed in such a way that it feels very spacious, and it smells very nice. The staff (Vivian) was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The website is nicely designed and the chat support (Beau) was also very insightful in helping me identifying a smell, he even offer to ship a sample to me to make sure it's the right one! As for the products, they work very well and helped making my daily routines much more enjoyable and effective. Overall, awesome products and awesome customer service. Very much ideal for gifts and personal use. Can not recommend Aesop enough!

equalising shampoo

I ordered the equalising shampoo couple months ago after speaking to one of the assistants online and although the lid was broken when it was delivered and 1/3 of the shampoo had leaked into the packaging I was still very pleased with the shampoo - my hair feels squeaky clean, smells great and a little goes a long way.

Love everything Aesop

One of my favourite brands - skin cream is gorgeous and gentle on sensitive skin, hand cream and wash great gift idea. Packaging is beautiful. Everything smells incredible

Worth every penny

Worth every penny. Sure they seem expensive and pointless to buy as I dont know what they do but I still buy them regularly, it just a cool brand.

Like beats headphones people still buy them despite their better options on the market

Balmain shop

Balmain shop. Just spent my usual $200 a month for skin care that I have for over 3 years now and I was not offered one sample. It would have come up in my profile. Nice girl doing the floaty la de dah stuf. Not happy. I am looking for an eye cream and I would have killed to be offered to try one sample and then I could have said “ I’d like to try an eye cream” - on principal I will not buy Aesop even though I love the products. I have promoted Aesop to my friends theyvgetAesop presents and have giiven them samples and when I am flying I use the samples on the planes for cleanses and refresh. The staff are lovely in Balmain but seem to be tripping and really stupid ... customer service is paramount, especially when hard cash and a devoted customer is walking in the door. I am not returning to buy the Christmas presents I planned to buy from Aesop now.
