Ordered a Reverence handwash direct from Aesop to see what all the hype is about and to say I’m underwhelmed would be a master stroke of understatement.
It lathers fine, and washes your hands but this amazing, heavenly fragrance?
Well mine barely smells of anything at all, in fact I’d actually say you’re better off with a £2.50 supermarket special, some of the nicer supermarket aromatherapy ranges absolutely blow this overpriced example of clever marketing right out of the water at a sixth the price.

Had a wonderful interaction at your Covent Garden store, as per usual. Visited a couple of weeks ago and forgot to.leave a review for the wonderful ANNIE who helped me with the Pumice soap and wonderful hand cream. I love going in your store as the team are so welcoming. The team there really are the only reason I shop there.. as other brands, regardless of how great the products are, if the service isn't great, I won't subscribe. They represent the brand so well and bring faith back to the retail services. Thank you Annie and the rest of your team.
Also love the samples you give, which also keep me coming back. Retail store need to take notes.

Aesop Værnedamsvej - måske hed han Magnus. Jeg fik den bedste oplevelse, kom hjem med sæbe og deo som jeg kom efter, plus en lækker natmaske. Fik en masse gode prøver og så forærede han mig en facial Oil, nok fordi jeg har været kunde længe og elsker produkterne. Nu har jeg selv bestilt olien, fordi han havde ret: den giver så god fugt og ro til min hud ❤️ Tak for super gennemgang af produkterne, test på min hånd ved vasken. Jeg følte jeg fik wellness i butikken og da jeg kom hjem. Vi ses næste gang!

Aesop High Street Armadale discrimination by male sales manager
I am writing this complaint about a male employee in your High Street Armadale store who when questioned about about wearing a pro Palestinian flag pin by a concerned customer retorted to her that she's probably a Zionist and refused to serve her.
Certainly symbols of war, politics, religion and terrorism should be kept out of a business premises by staff during normal trading hours and management needs to communicate to all its staff to keep their political opinions out of the workplaces or the Aesop company will be up for anti discrimination laws actions.

Post poo drops are a game changer
After using post poo drops it has been an incredible product and helped to annihilate poo smells completely. Never thought a product could work so well. I have had it for 5 months and still using it. Very good value for money.

Went to try and pick a new fragrance as a longstanding customer of Aesop with my sister at your Brighton store. First introduced to it in Australia by my sister in Law in Melbourne (where your headquarters are based). When looking at the fragrances the shop assistant Sophie asked my sister if she needed any help. My sister stated she was browsing and if she was able to try the testers? Sophie failed to answer this direct question and insisted on asking further questions as to what my sister was looking for. There simply was no way to browse without a heavy presence from Sophie that left my sister feeling as though she was being treated like a shoplifter. My sister left the store very upset. I approached another shop assistant to express my wish to raise a formal complaint. Before I could finish I was interrupted by Sophie aggressively accusing my sisters' recollection of events to be false. Now 2 on 1, I asked my sister to come back inside and recall her story. At this point the store manager jumped into the conversation, now 3 on 2. She also defended Sophie stating "this is our store policy, we have lots of good reviews of happy customers and you are free to shop elsewhere". We were appalled at their response to a reasonable complaint that Sophie's customer service had left my sister feeling excluded and judged. Sophie continued to argue across my sister despite the complaint now being dealt with by the store manager. At one point Sophie stated "we do not allow customers to use the testers as some customers spray them around the store and waste them". So we were judged as 'bad customers' and when reasonably unhappy at this treatment, raising a formal complaint, were asked to leave the store and shop elsewhere?! The Equality Act 2010 protects you against discrimination by businesses and other organisations, when they provide you with goods or services. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community feeling judged and discriminated upon in Brighton, the LGBTQ+ capital of the UK, my sister and I were disgusted. I quote Aesop website: "When you buy Aesop you will be served by staff who are gracious, well-informed and worldly." I'm afraid neither Sophie nor the store manager uphold those values and I sincerely hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Products great, service disrespectful and rude
Love the products and the service in Edinburgh is excellent. The service in Duke of York Square by Sloane Square left a lot to be desired. We found it disrespectful service wise and especially when we came to pay and I was asked for and gave my first name - Joanne. After spelling it out no less than 7 times my daughter asked if she could type it in — the answer was no. We tried again and were told that it was an unusual name but the customer service expert could not get it right due to lack of English and was rather rude in her approach, disrespectful and unpleasant in her words and attitude. Eventually it was apparently that the customer service expert was struggling with my name and the ability to accept payment and a colleague came to her her. There was no apology or appreciation that we were rather upset that they colleague could not understand a simple name and had been rude. We paid and walked outside and my daughter burst into tears at the stress and unpleasantness. She was 13 then and really tried to help. We turned round and went back into the shop where a senior staff member show this and came forward. We handed the product back and did not want a refund - just nothing to do with such an unpleasant, rude experience and shop.
One should not have to prepare oneself for an unpleasant, disrespectful and rude experience in a ship like Aesop. Really hugely disappointing and this has stayed with me.
I complained online - and did not get a response - that says it all!
I will not go back ever to any Aesop shop now or buy any of their products ever again - even from Edinburgh. It’s not worth it and everyone and their name should be respected. No apology for this shows the j professionalism of the company and the staff.

Selon moi la meilleure marque de cosmétique sur le marché actuel. Les équipes de vente sont top, toujours de très bon accueil et conseils. Et les boutiques de la marque sont toutes magnifiques. Sans parler des produits que je trouve également très biens, avec un packaging qui donne envie.

I ordered from Aesop for the first time, as look fantastic didn’t have everything I needed in. The experience was super straight forward, with free shipping aswell as being sent with a reliable courier.
I’ll be ordering all of my products direct from now on as the reliability is guaranteed, unlike other retailers.

Poorest customer service ever experienced
I have bough quite a lot of AESOP products. But finally I needed help from their customer service (France). And my experience will make me change my mind about this company who obviously gives a sh.. about service. I tried all channels: Mail - no reply since 2 weeks. Chat: no response after 25 minutes (I then abandoned) phone. 2 minutes in the waiting line saying "an agent will reply" than a new message asking that I should call later. Tried this 3 times - no success. The poorest customer service ever experienced
